Hello guys im new here and new to ratting.So can anyone please tell me which ship is good for ratting im.using my catalyst for now amd lost one recently.so i decided to buy a better ship so please tell me which ship to buy and what fit do i need to use??.i currently have 40m isk.
If you’re out in Nullsec, are you by chance associated with any particular Nullsec Alliance? If you are, they would be your best resource to ask.
I would have recommended that you use a Vexor Navy Issue, but with only 40m ISK, that’s not enough to purchase one and fully fit it out.

Gnosis, than Vexor (even ordinary one). Try 100mn setup to mitigate at least some damage while orbiting the swarm of NPC.

41 M Isk without ammo and drones. The fit is for guristas space, for other NPC you need other hardeners.

Because of the damage type that Gurista’s deal. Other pirate rats will deal different damage types, so you will want to change the hardeners to match that when needed. This is also fairly common practice for missions.

Train into the Nidhoggur… and Hel if you want best anom ratting in nullsec
That said, its a year or two off for ya. In the mean time, the VNI or Ishtar, Rattlesnake drone setup is really easy to rat with, sort of inexpensive depending on how fit things.
Supers are best for Nullsec anom ratting. Other than that, Id have to argue another idea: DED Ratting with tech three’s… but that isnt as consistant as yoor anom ratting.
Depending if you like solo, or group play, a corp or alliance will be a huge asset either way mate.

It is more expensive but you can use cheapier drones, just it will take longer to kill stuff.
Of cause if you can skill into lasers, you can / should use them vs sansha pirates or blood raiders …
