so I heard now alpha can own a moon or a planet or something and they can do PI, but now I dont see any skills alpha can train for planets? why is that? did I hear the wrong information?
It’s because if free accounts were allowed to have PI, someone could just run alts upon alts to maximize production and drive the prices and profit margins to the ground.
Most passive income streams are also restricted or disabled on free accounts for this reason, alongside with some other carefully chosen skills.

You can technically install a little bitty PI extraction factory on one planet, but you cannot extract anything you harvest into space to sell it.
It HAS to be this way.
Same thing with industrial production.
If Alphas could produce anything, even in tiny quantities, it would be infinite quantities since I could have any number of alpha accounts.
It would rapidly and completely destroy the game economy.
