since I am starting out with a orca soon and my corp want to moon mine. The question came up what skills would I need as a orca pilot to mine these ores with mining drones.

Regarding Newbro Forums: Mining drones II and Orcas are not the typical Newbro gear 
Just remember: Don’t fly what you cannot afford to lose.

Recent Patch Notes: Mining Drones II cause some residue.
I don’t see a problem why drones should not be able to mine moon ores, last time I checked they did. They don’t need crystals afaik.
