then more came… where there’s honey…. there’s wasps…
I becamoe MORE suspicious, and started monitoring everyone in or out the system I was in…
4 VERY SUSPECT zkill gankers pilots entered the system…
So I went to try add these to the contact list…
CAN’T ADD CONTACT
LIST FULL
-
So, How do I create a new contact list,
I never came to my contact list to be “full”
or knew I could create more than one contact list…
Idk if it’s even possible…
Those guys are running Hulks now, but there’s more Chinese characters -0.9 sec Alts coming and going… it’s becoming dangerous… When I see 10 Alts jumping in all with below Zero sec I start becoming slighlty uncomfy…
-EDITED OUT ALL PICTURES WIT PILOTS NAMES- (nothing left to see here, just a text box, saying no more space in contact list…)
I’d remove that person from the post firstly. Calling out people on the forum like that is a no no last I heard. Find a quiet system 1.0-0.9, they do exist, and well see if you can survive 5 to 6 seconds before concord shows up. I got nothing else except maybe fly a tanked skiff. idk.
According to a quick search it seems the limit is 1024 contact which also includes blocked list entries. Did you reach that much? Do you add gankers one by one?
Because it is more reasonable to add them by corp instead as that is one single entry and covers every ganker in that same corp.
Of course if they are in an NPC corp then only adding them by person works.
The contact list is per character and unlike access lists (ACLs) and bookmark folders you only have one.
Yeah, I do… every single one that is a danger to me is added…
far and few in between the “friends” , I can’t keep track of the thousands corps within corps
and can’t add every single Alt of a Multibox ganker… Usually one is enough…
If only I could keep track of the logins for each of them automatically, so that I could know which
is safe to get rid of… it’s a list 15 years in the making… I’m sure many Accounts must have gone in deep sleep… but I have no way to know… —
Maybe I could add send notification when online to all the contact on the list and quietly
get some off the table… but there’s a lot of new one everyday…
I’m paranoid but I constantly get ganks attempts at least once a day…
I need those in check…
Join E-uni on an alt, then delete your main’s standings list and just add contacts for the corps and alliances on the uni list instead. Adding gankers character by character is pretty silly.
I’m not sure of what I’m doing with Corps standings…
I don’t wanna mess up things even further…
it’s not that easy… ( I mean me… get how to do it right…)
That is the buddy feature but it only shows their true online status if they add you as a buddy as well, otherwise it will always show red.
When you add someone instead of adding the character go to their corp instead and add the corp. This will make every ganker in that corp show up as red while only uses one single entry in your contacts list.
You can literally remove close to a thousand entries if you replace them with corp contacts and in the end can have thousands upon thousands of characters marked through their corp instead probably without even reaching the contacts limit.
How on earth have you managed to use up all 1024 or so slots ? Just add people by the corp they are in, rather than one at a time individually.
If you add people individually you are also going to have the issue of not knowing if a person is even still in the game. Half your list might be inactive people.
Also, doing it at the corp level means you will automatically pick up new people who join the corp.
You can never know. One of them might login and gank you. It could happen at any moment, anywhere you are. Frankly, it is a miracle how you manage to remain so composed. If I were in your shoes, I would scream out in terror!
I don’t know how to access this “list” that’s my problem now…
I would like to do a “soft” reset and delete only the inactive accounts for more than 1 year,
for example…
but I don’t even know where to look for it…
Every other thing is “secondary”… rn
There’s the “Neutral” default for everyone, but some are more “Neutral” than other…
I’d love to tag these other “Neutral” as actual “Neutral” and not having to care if those
“Neutral” would accidentally “gank” me given the first opportunity arises…
It took me three years to understand what CODE was…
My pain / danger bar level tolerance is exceptionally high by default…
that can be a good or a bad thing… idk..
