I’m getting conflicting information about being able to build a Fortizar in a C1 wh. AI, both Grok and ChatGPT will tell me you can build the freighter to launch it and then build the fortizar in a Raitaru… then, it turns around and tells me you can’t build large size hulls in a raitaru contradicting itself.
It seems Google is doing the same thing as well. Google used to be mostly accurate. I don’t want to put the isk into getting everything in there just to say, nope can’t do it.
And if you can do that, I know it’s stupid expensive, but in theory can one then build an Azbel and a Keepstar in a C1 WH also?
As far as I can see from the EVE Wiki, the Standup Manufacturing Plant I in the Raitaru allows you to build anything, except for capital ships and supercapital ships. You could build a Raitaru to build a freighter to build a Fortizar there.
Both Structure Components and the Upwell Structures themselves can be built in NPC stations as well as Upwell Structures with online manufacturing services.
The issue is not building it but bringing the core in, even for the Azbel, to online the L Structures. The core is 80.000 m³, which requires a freighter in the first place*, which does not fit through most wormholes leading into a C1.
You can bring it into C1 Wormholes in a simple DST.
Or, build an Orca… you can use it for boosting Mining Operations inside the hole later, cargo is still sufficient to launch an L-Structure (80.000m³) from it.
Only build a freighter in there if you need it as log-off evac ship for valuable high-volume assets.
Yeah, also a nice option if you don’t want any M-Structures in the hole anyway and just go for Forti+Tatara+Azbel.
The usual setup I often see is Forti as main staging and some Raitarus / Athanors for industry (rigs are just so much cheaper…), in which case you could build the Forti directly inside the hole and deploy it with an Orca that you usually will want/need in there anyway. But yeah, deploying everything from a Torrent is a very elegant way too! Thanks for the hint!
