Cannot get past character selection!

I can get to the character selection but I am unable to actually select my main character. It says ‘Connecting’ but nothing happens. I can play as my alt with no issue though. I have a ticket in but nobody is responding for some reason. I have just come back to Eve after a 3 year hiatus but I won’t buy a subscription until I can get to my main character. As you can see from the screenshot, the system security level won’t show either. This is really weird and very frustrating.

I can login to the test server with my main character but not Tranquility. This is really strange. Somebody help.
