I haven’t touched EVE Online in over five years.
Recently decided to come back because I’ve had the itch to play again and realized on logging into my character: I have no idea what I’m doing.
I originally started playing all the way back when Dominion was the most recent expansion and played for a few years basically doing nothing. That character has since been deleted with their SP all transferred over to this one, who I created in 2020 during the pandemic and had nothing else to do.
Came back and hopped in with a Null-Sec corporation for a few months but things ended up not working out. Not for any reason other than that I wasn’t really able to develop myself in a way best suited for the corporation I was a part of.
So what am I actually looking for?
Here’s where I’m going to be constantly contradicting myself–because, in a nutshell, I’m not really sure but have an idea.
I’ve always just wanted to play this game casually and learn its deeper levels of content. I want to do mission running, mining, industry, and just generally play the game with people who are also casual and don’t take the game too seriously but are willing to help a player who has no idea how to even really proceed with this game.
My skill training is all over the place but mainly focused on optimally flying T3 Tactical Destroyers and T2 HACs, but I can set up in ships for other gameplay loops quickly.
Null-Sec gameplay is not a focus but I won’t shy away from it as long as I have people who are open to teaching how to play.
It might be a big ask but I’m looking to join a group or corporation that doesn’t focus on running meta fleet builds as part of a larger alliance but can also provide guidance on how to fit ships and generally run the content that is available in the game.
