That’s not very nice to scare a cat like that, I would never do this, though I had placed a sock on my hand and allowed my cat to attack my hand.
I dropped a realistic looking 6 foot rubber snake in the middle of 16 cats eating on my kitchen floor. Cats and cat food scattered all over the place

I have 3 and Ive gotten them so many things to sleep on or in, play on or in. they never touch any of them. They like the boxes all the stuff comes in.

Walking through the park today I had seen this coming out of the bushes and as I was walking by it scooted back under the fence.
I looked around and didn’t see the parents though the bush area looked kind of thick deeper so I guess it’s home in further inwards.
It didn’t look hungry and does look recently fed.
Just can’t even think of bringing home another cat.
/ in this heat it might end up as snake food by this afternoon.
