An interesting thing happened recently. Just as I read-up an article about a New Eden capsuleer allegedly using unlawful and fringe technologies and methods to gain an edge over other players (who may that be?), I see this interesting occurrence during a live CCP stream. Interesting flow of events in those few minutes.

Doomsday weapon. I’m a bit out of the loop but generally it targets one ship for massive amounts of damage (can one shot up to around 1.6m EHP IIRC) - used to be with collateral for nearby ships as well but not sure if that is still the same.
A long time ago they’d also reach through cynos I believe and kill stuff in the linked solar system.

Okay, so, I’m trying to make sense of all this, and this is what I have. If I’m wrong, please do correct me. Anyway…
So I do know that CCP employees will sometimes spawn ships for RP’ers to destroy. So, I assume that the titan was something like that -spawned specifically to let capsuleers destroy as part of an event. Thus, it probably doesn’t matter in the grand scheme of things as long as the titan was destroyed at some point (and it never played a role in any sort of strategic objectives).
However, however… many players are still distrustful of CCP after the T20 scandal, and think CCP is in the habit of cheating for themselves and/or the favorite groups. Thus, videos such as this just adds fuel to the fire.
I know, if CCP cured cancer, players would complain about them putting doctors out of work. But this wasn’t some mechanic change that had both advantages and disadvantages. It was just someone faffing about who made an unforced error.
Anyway, here’s the link to Adrien’s reddit thread. It’s garnering a lot more attention, and provides more player comments. Yes, some are white knighting, but others are not being so charitable.

a GM pulling this during GM week is total BS.
the whole purpose of GM week is a chance for players to interact with ccp staff.
if a gm / ccp member doesnt wish to get in fights with players , they should fly one of the ccp ships.
this GM and the other one that was in a drake should be banned from the tranquilty server.
If it’s on video it’s not a rumor.
It would be damning in a court of law.
