It doesn’t really matter. I’m not going to go through my entire corp history.
That is my general experience of mining comms and thats all I’m saying. Mission comms are slightly livelier. But roaming gang comms are where the dumb stuff that brings people closer tended to happen for me.
Youtube vids I’ve seen of other people doing dumb stuff and having a laugh seems consistent with my experience. I’m struggling to think of hilarious comms moments captured during mining ops and posted for others to share.
Even when I think of the This Is Eve video the miner is, yep, alone.
You know what, ive had more intelligent conversations with my 5 year old niece and your constant strawmans are ridiculous, so im just going to ignore you like i have your little troll friends that lurk in these forums 24/7.
Might I suggest not fixating on people as trolls and instead looking at things like EVE offline new player created graph… for evidence as to why your made up numbers were drivel. You didn’t bother to investigate the evidence available to you first.
Most of these players don’t get that people don’t quit eve because they couldn’t adapt. They quit because a good game is not worth suffering such low life people. People would rather skip out on a good game because they can’t tolerate them. I feel bad for anyone who has to deal with them in real life. Regardless, it’s the same tired npc talking points that are presented with abandon as you have seen. It’s best to ignore them since they thrive on attention in general since no one is clearly willing to tolerate them in real life to give them attention. One can tell how a person is in real life based on how they act in a game. Only people who think they’re larping would claim otherwise like “I don’t go around killing people in real life”, but if you were around when the church was like “god will absolve you of your sins if you slay the heathen”, they’d do it. Cowards never know themselves. And it’s odd that people who all they do is waste their life in camps waiting for easy kills telling others to “adapt or die” think that they’re doing a service worthy of admiration. They’re npcs in the truest sense of the word. They trigger themselves to laugh even if salt was there or not. Blind to the consequence of their actions and their own lack of original thought.
Fact of the matter is if you have a friend irl who steals from you in a game, don’t be surprised when he does it irl. Despite people larping, They still carry their character irl with them within their larp. Like how someone who consistently wins at chess may be considered smart. Because it does require some intelligence to it to be able to win consistently. And their intelligence is expressed within their lives. I would argue a number of successful people play eve online, but they ain’t these types. These types are really a lot like religious zealots. Their arguments are always the same, they react the same, and it’s always toxic. It’s honestly cringe and the only way one can come to tolerate it consistently is to do the same thing back. Their presence literally changes the atmosphere of these forums. High sec people really should band together to take care of their problems. They out number the problem people by several times and t1 shitfit cruisers would lock them down. I mean, they exploit multiple accounts. Switch to alpha accounts high sec and just zerg them with throw away cheap fits until they stop. then return to your main accounts. But that’s the problem. Time. And people log into eve knowing what they want to do since it is a game where you set your own goals.
I love fighting irl. When I was studying Taekwondo we would wear all sorts of padding. Chest, groin (though I never wore mine lol and the one time someone started going for my balls on purpose was the only time I ever wore one. Talk about luck), shins, feet, hands, and a helmet. I would take pride in people telling me that I would bruise and crack bones through the padding. It made me feel good. I love shooting games. I don’t lie to myself and if I had a gun, I’d probably go hunting all the time (barring corona virus). When I gank people, it’s because I get a thrill out of it. I like it. But I can still call it for what it is and therefore when I gank, I discriminate. People who go around ganking people indiscriminately regardless of how it affects subs are low IQ and my judgements are probably on point. It’d simply be a matter of observing them without them being aware that they’re observed and wait a day at the most because they lack all self control when they don’t feel like there’s a “need” to. That’s why it’s always the same tired old responses and toxicity. And I learned, just because you can be nice to someone doesn’t mean that they’re gonna be nice to you back. So it’s best to be like a mirror.
learn how to play the game better is the only advice you need. seek help.
nobody is forcing you to do anything, you made that choice when you hit accept terms and conditions, remember do that ?
no there should not, there is a reason why it’s called low security space.
it’s all in your head, this is just a game, so play it as you want, but please don’t expect or feel you are entitled to change how others play the game also.
You keep calling other people toxic…do you remember your first thread here? (or the first thread i saw you in anyways)…
Speaking of mirrors, perhaps look in one.
So your post about the dark ages is projection? Because you let out your inner self in the game doesn’t mean that others do. Shooting people in games can be fun for a lot of people. But i very much doubt that they’d all love to go hunting if they had a gun…i imagine, simply by the laws of statistics, that many people shooting things in games are Vegan.
I honestly don’t understand.
I have access to low sec on my second character and I have no problems doing stuff in there if I want to. One is a very quiet corner of low sec the other is a bit infamously not-so-quiet are of low sec and I can travel about, doing the stuff I do on other characters.
I just need to know how to do it. And when to do it.
Rather than trying to change the basic premise of the game that has been this way since its inception, you need to figure out the hows and whens on your own. Or play something else, more suited to your play style.
So you should be able to outsmart them so easily that they have no hope of ever ganking you… right? As should anyone of even mere “average” intellect, no?
We’ve been over this, too. Highsec couldn’t organize an orgy in a brothel on its very best day. Highsec banding together and giving the ebil pvpers what-for is the Eve version of:
Pure, impotent revenge-fantasy stuff, enjoyed while crying oneself to sleep.
If there was actually a common cause uniting highsec… I bet they could.
But most of highsec couldn’t care 2 cents about gankers or any of these issues. That’s why there is no great crusade, because it’s not actually a great issue.
People have been saying this same thing (about optional PvP) for so long that I literally can’t remember when I first heard it. I’m fairly certain it was some time around when Battleships were first introduced, however long ago that was. They will never learn.
LOL. You’re wrong, and you could have just checked the OP’s KB to see.
Just because it’s hard to believe there may be people like this, that doesn’t mean they don’t actually exist… and are willing to come to a public forum to let everyone know even…
