Because he and I already did. What you have to think about is outcome, often the result of changes don’t go as you expect for various reasons, @Bjorn_Tyrson did a very good job on explaining why your expected outcome might not materialise, and you ignored it. At this point I think I am out of here, because it is a complete waste of my time.
That would be rather interesting, would players be able to make their own gates in that suggestion, and they would obviously be structures that can be destroyed. Would make the game a lot more interesting, but all that scanning for WH’s would set my teeth on edge, I left Stain because of that…
Me, and the others that want to come in and stomp your sandcastles in your privileged corner of the sandbox, as protected now by systemic safety/security mechanics that have no reason to exist in Player NS.
The thousands of others that will descend on your complacent, “safe”, Nullbear butts to slap you around for complacency.
Look what happened when Immediate Local failed in NS due to chat bug. Players stormed in to wreck nullbears, and the rest of nullbears hid for the duration.
You fear more risk, and want the same Local, Asset Safety, Insurance as HS, though HS is the polar opposite with far less reward.
Ok, I still don’t know who you’re talking about, but may that as it be do I still need to ask how exactly you’re going to do this?
See, I live in high-sec, but even I can understand that if I was to go with an army into null-sec and try to stomp out someone’s castle, then I will also get no insurance payout. And if I want to put a foot into the door then I need some structure of my own, and without asset safety will I be equally screwed.
So you’ll need to explain this in a bit more detail how your suggestions would make someone like me, who is risk averse and knows it, believe to stand a chance when it only gets harder for all of us.
