Its easy to get sidelined into comparing the relative safety/security mechanics of HS/LS/Player-NPC NS/WH, proportionally.
But what is the core issue, is the balance of each, internally, between risk/reward in that sector, not how it weighs against another sector.
Whether HS or Player NS is “safer” isnt really relevant.
What is relevant, is whether Player NS (or HS) are too safe as they are, as weighed against their internal risk/reward parameters.
I think its very hard to argue that CCP hasnt unduly coddled Player NS.

I dont have a specific horse in the race at present, but part of the reason I dont, is the current status quo of Player NS mechanics.
We have been brainwashed by propaganda to think Player NS mechanics are proportional to risk/reward there.
But when you look at extant safety/security mechanics still in place there, and CCPs track record of maintaining them, even increasing them, through many changes, it does start to raise questions of whether the risk/reward parameters of Player NS have been too coddled.
Tbh I tend to disbelieve anything I havent experienced first hand if Im told it.
However, being unable to experience it first hand leaves… well me watching two sets of folk argue without knowing which one to back.
But as I stated at the start with the OP, 30m in a WH is pretty durn low compared to an average day really.
Hell you can easily pull that exploring in Low.
I guess Im not really qualified to comment lol.

But I think its hard to argue that Delayed Local, no Asset Safety, no Insurance and a limited Watchlist would not increase risk in Player NS.
I shall leave that to those more qualified than I.

Yeah, I’m completely amazed at their ability to drone on with the boilerplate and talking points irrespective of the actual topic of the post. The Shuttle in Jita example has some weight, interms of a parked unknown shuttle in Player NS would be blown up instantly, but the issue here is sector internal risk/reward and safety/security, not comparing them as proportional or relative to another.
The core question here, is has CCP coddled Player NS.
