Yes. It is quite easy for me to override what’s good for me personally, in order to have a better game, to have things more fair, and to have things make more sense.
You live in high-sec in an NPC corp. This matters as far as your true motives are concerned and explains why you would want a piece of space, which you don’t live in, to become harder for those who do. What your suggestion does is a bit like saying to make high-sec easier, by making null-sec harder.
And your corp/Alliance mates agree?
I haven’t discussed it with them. My guess is, they wouldn’t. Most people that profit/benefit off “the way things are” don’t want them changed.
Ok, I can respect that, since you’re saying you live there. But then don’t you think that by making null-sec harder it would make life in high-sec only more easier overall? Wouldn’t more players retreat into high-sec after such a change? And would this not consequently make null-sec emptier and thereby reduce the risk which is the risk of being attacked by other null-sec players?
So it is all about what you want?
Its really funny how hard you and others shill on this.
You are so abjectly terrified by more risk, and actual player responsibility in Player NS to compensate, that there is no limit to how ridiculously far you will go to defend not removing Immediate Local, Asset Safety, Insurance and re-instating a limited Watchlist.
Or rather, it would be funny, it it wasnt so tragic for EVE, and so disruptive of discussion on such a crucial issue.
No ranting please.
Dafuq.
How easy HS or Player NS living is, does nor change its inverse.
Good job ignoring content, and making a false accusation.
Clearly, you are trolling.
You don’t think there’s a connection between who lives in null-sec and who lives in high-sec? That one doesn’t influence the other?
You yourself want null-sec to change, but you live in high-sec. So if think there is no connection, why does any of null-sec matter to you?
Why not post on your main? or is it such an issue you would be villified?
I think the point you missed was Null is too easy!
I don’t think so. I think players want rewards (ISK). But if some players move, so be it. Maybe null life isn’t for them.
Players already live in wormholes for less reward and more risk and more inconvenience than in sov null.
No, it is self-balancing. If nullsec empties out until nobody lives there and there is no risk, then people will flood back because “easy ISK raining from heaven, and no risk!” But if people leave, again maybe they aren’t the big baddy elite PvP “real men” of Eve after all. Maybe they are just a bunch of carebears.
Do you live in Player NS?
Why are you afraid of Delayed Local, no Asset Safety, no Insurance and limited Watchlist?
Well, isn’t this the worst problem ever?! We all should go there immediately and take advantage of it. Why don’t we?
But it is and you know it! That is why you are so against any change.
So you’re saying that increasing risk in null-sec could have the effect to drive some players out, thus make it less riskier again?
So basically do you agree that by making the “moat” deeper it only supports those who already have a strong hold, but makes it harder for anyone from the outside to come in and to successfully start a confrontation.
Am against meaningless and pointless changes. If you suggested to paint tritanium purple instead of leaving it white would I also be against it.
No.
Increased risk draws players in to capitalize on that against miners/ratters etc, as increased reward for them.
It widens the margins to allow for more PvP, at the expense of the unwary/unprepared, by invaders,
