If you do cloak your speed is cut -75%. Meaning they will eventually find you. An overheated AB will at least get you back to the gate.

It seems you dont quite understand what MWD & Cloak trick is for. It is not to move in cloak but to warp away in 10 sec no matter your align time while you are cloaked during that 10 sec align time (MWD cycle).

No wonder why I avoid the forum’s. You dont even know what ships do what. A blockade runner can warp cloaked. A DST cannot. Active a MWD then cloak, not the other way around, your ship cloaks. You lose 75% velocity. Before the mwd cycle finishes your dst never even got to full speed. Literally moved it 1000 max. And now its cloaked… so everone burns to your location to uncloak you.

Now, if they dont find you, you wait it out. If you align then uncloak. You still have to get to speed before warp. If you uncloak, then mwd, then warp they will still tackle since your sig is battleship size. If you think you can just mjd. That aint going to happen. Theyre most likely in scram range.

As CCP nerfs cheap cyno ships, mining, resistances and any thing else the price of everything else but PLEX is going up in price. Now you have spend more real money on PLEX to get the same bang for the buck. This is a CCP money grab. Everyone is to busy blaming the developers and do not understand the developers are just doing what they are told by the pencil pushers.

It is a well known fact that this kind of tactics is a suicide, as very few people will be willing to pay more than they were before inside your client base. Meanwhile, a part of it will go upset and leave.

It’s possible to put an “abusive” price on something at the very beginning, if you manage to convince clients with whatever method. However, rising up price afterwards almost always fail.

Those “pencil pushers” might only think about the money, yes, but this is actually the reason why your reasonning is strange. People who are interested by money do not risk themself in maneuver that are very well known to mostly backfire without actual financial gain.

They might be trying to manipulate the game in a certain purpose, but that’s certainly not “selling more PLEX”. As others already pointed-out in the thread, if this was the goal, they had a tons of much better methods at their disposal.

It comes down to fits and luck. Given DST’s start at +2 Warp strength, its not hard to get it to 4, so even the best +3 Scrams won’t stop it.

I will try to put this in simple terms for you.

If your ship costs 100 isk today and 100 PLEX costs 100 units of real outside the game money and equals 100 isk.

To replace your ship it will cost 100 units of real outside the game money and CCP gets that money.

If the price of your ship increases to 200 isk and 100 PLEX decreases in value to 50 isk and still costs 100 units of real outside the game money.

To replace your ship it will cost 400 units of real outside the game money and CCP gets that money.
