Another cookie lmao.
In other words…you got no reply. Okay, that figures.
Dude how do I reply to something this retarded?
Poor code is poor code. Period. This is CCP ■■■■ to bear.
The decision to jump only exposed how messed up SOV warfare is to the point where you can exploit the system without a fight simply by flooding it! Also CCPs fault!
On top of that certain actions didn’t even work as intended. CCPs code!
We jumped, some died empty hulls some spawned with extra titan in hangar.
What the actual ■■■■ lmao
You have posted two things that are not consistent.
It is all 100% CCP’s fault. This implies there is zero fault for PAPI jumping in.
You have also said, “Leadership decision was piss poor…” suggesting that the leadership was at least partly to blame for the ■■■■ show in M2 this past Saturday/Sunday.
Now you refuse to clarify and call it stupid.
This is just your typical incoherent ranting.
Because decision to jump or not jump is not based on actually CERTAIN outcome.
**edit. Not jumping would render a certain outcome.
Nobody knows this number. You keep speaking like you know it. Well then give it to me? What is the number??
Everything is based on game mechanics and if CCP lets you jump then action should be executed at least the way it was intended.
People eating ■■■■ on grid can go and get mad at the leadership but the fact stands. This happened cause eve is poor code that can no longer handle sov warfare. Critical mass of balance was reached. You win eve now without contest.
How is that not CCPs fault??
Actually we have a good idea where that number is. Once you start to go past 5,000 things get really wonky with the server. Nobody knows the exact number, and given a variety of factors it may not be a given number at all times.
PAPI leadership knew they were taking a risk. They were already thinking we could lose 20 titans. I contend that there was a very significant probability they could lose every titan they jumped in. And that they knew this. Yet, they jumped them in anyways.
Yes, and PAPI decided to go past that point anyways. You even said so yourself back up stream with your statement that this has “happened more times than you can count.”
This does not mean CCP doesn’t have problems when these big fights break out. But when you know you are going to blow right past the point of stability of the servers by a wide margin…you also bear some of the responsibility for the outcome.
Oh, and in that last sentence it is the indefinite “you”.
What outcome?
The only one you have if you want to contest the enemy?
There’s nothing else there mate unless somebody inside the big block decides to go BoB
So here we are at a point of Game Over or let’s see maybe this time the server will handle since nobody really knows the limit.
Wait till the gaming world hears about how EvE was the first game ever to have an overpopulated event which led to server issues.
Itll ruin CCP, for sure.
Regardless of server performance issues, the game should have never taken the weapons and armor of those warriors willing to risk it all, throwing it all to the bottom of a lake while they still sit at camp.
After reviewing the thread and all it’s posts, I’m closing this thread as a rant. Thanks all.
