CCPTV Livestream with CCP Burger and CCP Rattati

Two years ago in high sec. I used a orca and single max skilled mining alt. I was making a little under 10M isk per hour per toons. So 20M isk in hour in total. So yes I could afford to replace an orca in 40 hours if I needed too. Since CCP removed Nerfed ores to death a orca with a maxed skill alt is not making 6M isk per hour while an Orca costs 1.8B isk plus the alt mining ship. CCP has trahced the risk vs reward.

Why would i move to null sec? To play in a group that has rules or requires you to play their way. No thanks! CCP has made eve non rewarding and no funny any more since i can complete my goals in a time I think is reasonable.

There are a great many types of groups in null my friend. If you relax a little, and try to expand your horizons, you will find there is likely a great bunch of people to fly with. I know several that don’t have any requirements or what have you, just come, chill, make some money.

You can easily expect 5x your earnings. No worries. If you skill an Exhumer (hint hint) you can also go after the sweet, sweet Mercoxit. You will be making 6m per cycle of the strip miners, never mind per hour. Add in a max boost rorq and compression, you will be rich beyond your wildest dreams. No more worrying about pesky 1.8 billions.

Anyway. Just a suggestion. Take it or not, it’s up to you. I do strongly suggest, however, playing the game in front of you rather than shaking your fists at the sky. It will be better all round. Good luck!

I played in null sec. The rewards are not worth the added rules and requirements that null sec groups have. Also in CCP Rat’s New Economy it really is not worth being in Null Sec. ESS banks taking money right out of your hand and lacking minerals too.

This game is no longer worth my gaming time and dang sure is not worth spending money on.

Ok. So… Can I have your stuff then?

You press F1 and you take a sip of coffee while the mining ship dies.

I guess what you are missing is that it still is the agile indy command ship you want. However if you want the extra range and the tiny bit of buff you get with the indy command burst then run the indy module. It is still a choice, they didn’t nerf the ship is what I am saying. It they gave you a option to make it better or not, you decide.

Absolutely you are wrong. The Porposie was specifically made for shattered wormholes, and has nothing to do with regular belts in high, low, null. You can use them there, but having the correct mass to go into the wormholes is the role of the ship. Orca, not a wormhole ship, but a high, low, and null ship. Maybe this clears things up for you now that you know the role of the ship, and if you are not specifically using it there, you are using it in a non intended role, which is completely fine in Eve, but don’t say it doesn’t work properly in High sec space, when it wasn’t designed for highsec space.

They are doing a good job and I will give a couple of examples. The industrial changes were needed to have dialed in the industry that now they can play with as needed to prevent the past from happening. They just spoke about this in the dev blog, about getting more faction ships in space, which means they will turn down the inputs for those specific ships, and it won’t affect the titan, supers…do you see how this is a great thing. In addition to that while, you were not paying attention, CCP stated, that they are looking to turn down the inputs for capitals. They are working to make sure that they are stable but it is on the radar. The second point, the mining changes were perfect, I mine in an exhumer, not a T1 barge, do you want to know why? Because CCP make the correct adjustments to allow me to mine in Exhumer without fear of being ganked with 3 catalysts which was BS back then. You may need to elaborate on why the economy is trash? Prices for much-needed inputs are coming down, i.e. reactions, ice products, and mining material. This will produce cheaper everything actually.

Cheers,

OP

What it seems like everyone forgets, is the game had capital components before CCP Rat’s New Economy. So capitals and sub caps were already separated. All CCP had to do was put some PI stuff on those and not touch anything else.

Once again we will disagree. CCP screwed on the mining barges/exhumers. All ore ships are shield tanks. The barges and exhumers get shield roll bonuses but the only way to get any tank out them is hull tank them. This is just any inept change done by CCP.

You are correct, to a certain extent. The fact that they did more than was strictly necessary hints at future developments you seem to lack the vision to anticipate.
If we get OREs scientific act together I predict much more is in the pipeline than compression.
If I’m right, I am looking forward to fully employing my Primae in the role in which it excels.

While I’m here I’d like take this opportunity to praise CCP for taking the bold and complex step of tying event/story-line activities as triggers for enabling development function.
It is a huge gamble that I fervently hope we the player-base can live up to, for the win.

Someone Posted it in the comment on the twitch stream. I would love to see battleship Logi and for that Tier to break out in its own. As mentioned before it’s needed some and some more love, but it’s almost a half-step tier above Cruiser/Battlecruisers and has a gulf in a lot of skillsets (Ewar is lacking) before going capital.

Just my opinion.

We dont need battleship logi

Off that same logic, do we need Cap Logi? If it is set as a tier or level or however you want to call it, I think logi should be apart of it.

Personally, I like the idea that is starting to be implemented. Putting battleships a solid tier above cruisers. Not only do they do more damage, that increase in HP is also there.

I think you just don’t want to see a fully developed tier before Caps. Some of us though, have no interest in being stuck in a cap for every fight.
