You don’t get it, and that’s ok. You’re not cut out for this game. You can’t adapt well enough. You don’t see the larger picture - the ways this benefits you - and so are unable to use your considerable resources to succeed in a new meta.
So nice to see the “just fuk off” crew is alive and well - Even better to see they have no understanding of the game play they are telling others to leave over.
How about this - If you’ve spent less than a week in nulsec - Just leave now.
Yes, yes they did - The Blocs (the actual targets of these changes) are the biggest winners here. Recruitment is up by such a large volume recruiters are begging leaders for help to cope - Whole regions of space where small to medium alliances worked for years (without Super umbrellas) are now all but devoid of life.
This change couldn’t be going better for those in small/er groups who have dedicated years to the game and suddenly find themselves more vulnerable than they were when they first started the game, when there was no ‘safe havens’ (rookie systems) and no tutorial and no Alpha state and no skill injectors and CCP actually employed people who understood the game and didn’t announce in a live broadcast - We know smaller groups are being affected worse than the bigger groups by these changes - It is just “collateral damage”.
Fukin luv being called that btw
You explicitly said that
You don’t want to play this game. Why are you forcing yourself to play? If it’s not fun, why keep playing?
And on the flip side, if it is fun then why are you complaining?
Then don’t? I seriously don’t understand your grievances, here you are telling me that you want to quit and you don’t want to commit to eve anymore, yet
Why are you suddenly getting mad at me? I literally just repeated and reinforced what you said yourself
LOL your comprehension of the English language leaves a lot to be desired.
I must say your ability to read things not typed into a post is impressive - Pity you get it wrong more often than not.
Nowhere does it say I wanted to quit playing - Read on, I said i was waiting it out. those who only scan posts and reply really with something they 'think" it means really shouldn’t.,.
Basically, you felt like threatening to quit in the hope that CCP would take action, then state that you would wait it out and hope that CCP actually does change things.
Why threaten to quit? If you really did want to quit, you could. If you don’t want to quit but want the game to fit your playstyle, you could just say that.
So what are you trying to get at? Are you hoping that threatening to quit will get CCP to reconsider and thus revert the changes so that the game fits your playstyle? I’d appreciate it if you would be more direct, since apparently I
Why not just explain your ulterior motives
Go back and read the post you are quoting…
Don’t bother replying again - My dog has a better understanding of the issues than you obviously do.
And to his credit, he doesn’t make stuff up to suit his own agenda, a troll is a troll is a troll.
And sadly you aren’t even a very good one.,.
Since evidently i’m too dull to get what your point is
Please I need more of your salt, your tears are delicious
lets be straight here. eve as a collective whole can adapt and withstand alot of bad changes, etc. what i don’t think the players can adapt and actually want to play the game, what will truly kill eve…
is CCP literally not giving enough of a ■■■■ about the game, or being stupid enough, to not consider the long term impacts of their changes. eve is very much a long-term game.
you NEED to consider long term effects. sometimes you’ll make a mistake, and that’s OK. people are unpredictable. but to not even bother to try is, to me, unacceptable.
HOWEVER. it seems to me that CCP really does care about the game. i think, after listening the the podcast… ccp is basically in a near-panic mode. they did definitely need to make some changes with the isk faucets from null.
@CCP_Rise is right. we in null are fairly bored. but we need conflict drivers between the empires of eve. i know that’s a difficult proposition, but it’s really what is needed. maybe we need some sort of siphon for the new moon fracking system. and make it easier to catalogue moons, etc.
A moment of silence as nullsec goes dark this winter.
So you are making Capital ships useless? No cyno to move capitals = no content, no cyno to save capital if tackled = no content (ship stays docked), no cyno for dredbomb = no content (dred one shot cyno ships in seconds).
I am a paying customer and am extremely unhappy with this proposed change. The last 2 years of skill training (while subbed!) and the ISK spend on dreds, fax, carriers and super are for nothing. You decided one day that our 1 bill+ worth ships are worthless and made that change without thinking about it for few minutes even. All the major fights start (and finish) with a CYNO. Remember B-R and X-47 - well FORGET ABOUT IT
Most players got into EVE because of the huge CAPITAL fights, where people put thousands of capitals on the line and fight it out! Without cyno to move, deploy and extract said ships - there is no battle!
Who in their right mind will remove cynos from capitals? Did your DEVS ever play EVE Online? Capital ships are the end game - the ability to teleport anywhere in 6 light years range makes them so strong. But you decided to beat down the capitals so hard, that they will be hardly ever used again. Would you at least think of a REFUND SKILLS PROGRAM for the capital pilots who are raging and angry about this change?
I spend 240 pounds in the last 2 years training for capitals on my alts - now they cannot be used the same way - Can I have my money back? I thought so!
Please have a coffee and think again about the capital pilots who invested their time and money to get to said ships? We reached the EVE end game only to get abused and offended by brigades on reddit and DEVS who don’t play the game. You listen to a couple of fools on reddit, instead of asking the CSM or the talking shows that players put on - WHY?
The capital pilots run Null and Low sec end game and battles. Wars are won and lost on CYNO. Without CYNO -no big capital battles will ever happen, as people can’t move easily.
This will potentially kill the mid-late game in EVE. Why after 16 years of this working you decide to kill and destroy that game - I don`t get it!
Stay Docked (capital pilot).
Another multi year low players for a Saturday. I know, it is just bots.
No Local, No Cyno - No players? Shocking!
Yep. The changes so far are necessary to tone down the easy ISK and resource gathering, but they are also conflict killers. There is still no reason with reasonable effort/reward to invade other’s territory nor defend your own. Conflicts need also to be fun for both sites, and not win or disband.
my subscription lapsed.
now i don’t have to bother and renew it.
You dont even need cynos to move caps anymore… you can just take gates… you can go quicker but you have to risk a 300mill ship for 5mins each time you do.
@Jack_Oam your killboard activity stops after may 2018.
At least cyno cov ops for hunting crabs will gone. Nice move, CCP.
It is more expensive to train force recon or BO. But will be difficult to move caps between alts, need more isks, time and plexes.
Excellent idea, release it.
When will the next SiSi mirror be, or how can we reset our password on SiSi to get used to the changes?
You can just log in TQ jump in a recon and light a cyno… that will be the best way to get used to the changes
