Could there be a more convenient way to order chat tabs please.

In the photon UI & beyond round table at fanfest i asked the devs directly if we would be able to reorder the tabs without taking them all apart like we have to now and they said we would. I feel i may have been lied to.
This would be a very nice feature to have. That and the ability to set some sort of default channel to open on launch.
