Hi there! Recently i wanted to save my overview settings, but it did not happen. My client just did not create new files or save existing ones. I started to investigate and found out that client stops to create any log files (chat, fleet etc.), fits and screenshots despite all settings were “on”. As you understand it completely refuses to work with “C:\Users%username%\Documents\EVE” folder.
After some further investigation I found out what happened. After the recent WINDOWS update, OS automatically turned on “Controlled folder access” option of Windows Defender. Thereby block access to the specified EVE folder and prevent creating or changing it. After i turn off this option everything goes smooth. You can add an exception for EVE, if you want.
