All the changes I make in the game, is not saved, when I exit the game and enter the game again, settings are back to what they were before, example is graphic settings, and if I change a tab name in the overview settings, it reverts back next time I log in. Any idea why?

It sounds like your pc may not be able to write to that file location.
It could also be that you have set a program to automatically synchronize your settings to another main file of another account, in which case you should either stop that or change settings using that other character. But I guess you would know if you had set up something like that in the past.
I also heard it can be impossible to save settings in that cloud computing EVE setup that CCP once tried, not sure if that’s still live and if you use that.
Can any of these things be the cause of your problem?
I have checked the %appdata% eve folder, and for some reason I cannot change the read-only attributes, not sure why, but not sure that is the problem really, since I don’t have same problem with any other application or game.
That folder being read-only sounds like it’s the cause of your problem.
Other games store their settings with their own methods in other places, which doesn’t mean anything for this EVE folder.
If the folder your settings are written to is read-only you will never write new settings for EVE.

When did you last log out of the game after trying to change character settings?
When were the files changed for the last time?
Is that the same moment?
If the files haven’t been updated in the recent time while you did play the game in that time, their read-only status is definitely the problem.

Yes, and I checked with file permissions, they are not read-only, only some folders are, but not files themselves. And I checked with some of the files time stamp after login in to the game, they file time stamps also changes reflecting that there has been changes to them.
I hope someone from CCP sees this post, this is a really annoying issue as none of my settings including overview settings are saved, next time I log in, they have been revert back 
Strange, then it doesn’t seem to be caused by the read-only setting.
No idea why the settings are reverted then.
Are you using one profile for EVE from the launcher, or multiple?
I’m only using one profile/one character.
Throwing the hat into the pile that I’m having the same issue where the game is only saving settings when it feels like it.
Like the CCP cloud isn’t updating or something.
I did a complete Windows reinstall today, and now my settings in EVE is saved, so problem solved, and I had plans to reinstall Windows anyway
I run into similar issues with Eve Online lately. The thing is as Jacquel Rezal did a clean install of windows and that didnt fix my issue. It feels like it only saves when it wants… I m wondering if this is a eve problem at all and not some windows issue.
Could we please get an official response to this with a workaround? I have a mild form of epilepsy and the station graphics do not sit well with me. Yes, i know I can change them when I log in but why is there no longer a ‘save setting’ button on the graphics page?
