It works both ways though. Gankers/enemies can see your fits, and you can also – most of the times – see theirs on zkill. And people don’t shake their fits up all that much, not in any significant way at least. And there are also these modules called ship scanners which will tell you the fit of the ship anyway. If there was no zkill there would just be more alpha scouts scanning your ACTUAL fit along the way and not going by zkill assumptions.
It would certainly be more interesting if one had to work for this information, and not get it ‘free’ from a public site. It would make engagements more unpredictable, but seeing as there are ship scanner modules, this info is already pretty much freely available to anyone wanting it.
My idea was that you are Gozer in that video and other forum users are the Ghostbusters who you ask if they are a worthy opponent in forum pvp.
If I was not too lazy to sign in I would send you 1 (one signle) ISK. As it makes no difference either way you can consider it happened and be grateful for my generous donation.
We, people, play different games. And we play the same game differently.
At the same time the games we play and style we prefer are completely unrelated to our personalities and character.
One would think: what makes some people prefer football simulators, others - racing and etc, etc, etc… ? And whayt makes these gamers to choose different strategies/approacher/etc in these games?
This definitely not related to them (personally). So? Someone external forces you to choose games you will play and to select behave models in these games, right?
Given that the previous person who fought the other ship may also have been you, I presume you have to book regular bookings at Dr Zork’s regular hypnotherapy regression lab…where you have their fitting expunged from memory forever.
I didn’t suggest anything. I relayed an opinion to the OP. You act like some petition was made to CCP. Anyway, your response is unnecessarily rude and aggressive like some angsty teen COD brat.
It’s not that simple. Especially in the middle of nowhere LS or NS. You have to actually find that person and be able to lock them and scan. Nobody is going to do that. It just sends red flags and you’d probably just lose the scout ship. Ship scanning is really just something ganker fleets do at gates to preselect targets for the attack group a jump or two down the route. Ganking isn’t Real PvP™ anyway.
