This discussion was about Bowheads, and there are still different views to be heard. Me and you do not think that they are useless in hisec, this is a rare moment of agreement between players who often have opposing views.
They are still very vulnerable to being bumped, but they are easier to get out of a bump, because I have actually helped a couple escape. Now if freighters had the same ability I would be happy and stop my criticism of the bumping mechanic because at that point I would think that there is a counter. I hope CCP looks at the Bowhead and changes all the freighters to be able to run the MWD the same way. Over to you CCP, hopefully Falcon will see that and push it along, fat chance of that…
PS Interesting that you can call for threads to be locked after you have taken them off topic and they then get locked… I will be pointing this out every time you take a thread off topic and I will then report you if you continue, because if you can call in a dev like this and get the thread locked then you need to be more controlled on your posts.

There is, the reason is why Bowheads are not useless, first of all they are more difficult to catch for a bumper due to the MWD, second aspect is that they have a meatier tank and third is that with the MWD and a bit of thinking people can get them warp outs. This is important in that it is a ship that has a counter to bumping if people make an effort.
Ima made a big silly fuss about the MWD to troll, but it did make me think about the bowhead and how freighters could be improved to give a better counter and the MWD is part of that.
