CODE: From the Perspective of a Non-Miner

So you agree theres no problem destroying low value ships.

Look you either agree or you disagree.

Claiming a third line is not productive.

I fail to see what he’s being a hypocrit about.

The actual truth is that if you look at the kill board, you’ll see that Ventures make up around 5% of the kills.

Phelan and Vixie are too good for Code - they are just having trouble explaining how.

While thank you
how nice that someone finally noticed

T do that you would have to get the average of every group of kills of similar value, and extrapolate the average out of that. Correct?
Still doesn’t show the actual picture but it’s much closer. So it’s a bit more to it than just taking the whole worth and dividing it with number of kills.

I don’t have a problem with it. Never said I did… Pretty sure I’ve said gankers are an important part of Eve’s ecosystem. looks through his posts Yep, I said that.

I find it pretty hypocritical of someone to call my corp’s primary content ganking when his corp exclusively ganks… seriously not a combat ship since April and our primary content is ganking? That’s pretty hypocritical.

Nah, I’m worse than CODE.; I don’t appear on Local.

CCP is phasing local out as each patch brings more bugs.

Does CODE even operate in WH?

The Code is everywhere.

The region I’m in must not be cool enough than, dang it

Not that I know of. Probe launchers take up space that could be used for a turret on a Catalyst or Thrasher…

And then they’d have to scan down the sites and wait for someone to pop up. While I think they have the patience for it; I think they’d rather spend it getting easier pickings near trading hubs and in ganking systems like Uedama.

Why work extra for your kills when idiots will feed you a higher average ISK per kill while you sit in the same system all day?

So anyone who’s not in CODE is an idiot than?

No, the people flying multi-billion-ISK lossmails into known ganking systems are. Why work harder when idiots are so determined to make your job easy?

Because known ganking systems are, surprisingly, often on the way to major trade hubs. That doesn’t make them idiots, just risk takers.

It makes them idiots when the risk is as high as it is, and the counter (keeping your ship value below the point where a gank is profitable) is so effective. And when we’re talking about expensive PvE farming ships then it’s pure idiocy, a T2 fit works just fine at 1% of the cost.

People like shiny stuff. Would you really like everyone to fly around in cheap ships? Why even have expensive faction bling in game than?

No, of course not. The existence of stupid people generating expensive lossmails is good comedy. But that doesn’t make them any less stupid.

Why even have expensive faction bling in game than?

For PvP, and for PvE players who are smart enough not to lose it. And as an intelligence test for highsec PvE farmers. But TBH I wouldn’t really care if CCP removed all of it, it’s a leftover from the old days of CCP including standard MMO genre conventions like purple loot or the attribute system and it doesn’t really fit in the modern game.

Idk, I kinda like variety in game. But calling someone stupid is harsh, could be they can’t be bothered too look stuff up, or they are not really invested in the game, or simply do not care.
Maybe bad players, still doesn’t make someone stupid.
