CONCORD introduces the Dynamic Bounty System

I did not read the whole thread.

  1. you already have a system that works for this kind of thing : system index = sqrt(started in system over the last 30days)/sqrt(started in total universe over the last 30 days). Do the same for bounties : add a concord index. Just dont go with petty 1% with system index, use 10% instead ; and use weekly value not monthly : concord index = 10×sqrt(bounties given in system over the last 7 days)/sqrt(bounties given in universe over the last 7days). You can even use 3-day sliding window instead of 7.
  2. PVP having an effect is dumb. It will be abused, maybe with you not realizing for several months/years. You got the problem backward : interesting systems SHOULD trigger PVP. That can be done by putting a part of the taxes inside a lootable stuff( ESS?) . But DONT ■■■■■■■ MAKE IT ABUSABLE ON PURPOISE.

They’re also doing the mandatory ESS.

And there is no set of rules that’s specific and comprehensive enough to be impactful that can’t also be gamed. It’s just a matter of putting a large enough pool of brains on the problem.

What is broken? That you need to be active to get your isk, and not semi afk while ratting? Or the fact that you need to be more organised to defend your space?
I play this game for 10 years now, and the best thing in it is that is constantly changing, evolving, and staying challanging.

Well no thats the true stuff.

Well duh, its a business.

Look, it just seems this whole null thing is no fun and you are wasting your time.

Why not try something else?

So does that mean there is no purpose daytripping to Null as youll not actually get paid for what you kill?

who gives a ■■■■ ? Not me. Please when you quote me, use the terms I use, not other terms that may be the same in some specific circumstances. I worte ABUSE and you read GAME.

Opposite of true stuff. Now that’s there’s scarcity, I’m not risking a single Rifter.

Like what? A triglavian mess? Ask edencom guys how they feel about that.
Incursions? Hisec travel is broken.
War? Already in one, but it’s gonna die very fast with those changes.
Abyssals? Don’t trust my internet enough, plus everybody and his dog are gonna run those.
What’s left? L4? Duh.

Well, I was thinking another game.

Thats pretty much what Ive decided to do, given that without spending money on top of sub, theres very little left to be able to do these days.

Im not against CCP reducing the money mountain that we are all sitting on. Im against the fact that they actually make getting any enjoyment out of the act of playing the game as difficult as possible unless you open a wallet over the cost of a sub.

The problem of those changes and the utter stupidity of where they are coming from is that CCP is trying once again to make my PVE operation a target.

So here’s my message, suck it, Hilmar, Burger, and other failures of game design who thought this was a good idea: I refuse to be engaged in a ship that has no chance to fight back, and will go to any length necessary to ensure this does not happen.

If anyone wants to put me at loss, he’ll have to shoot my pvp ship. It’s there, orbiting entosis in Delve, it costs up to 860mil (current prices) depending on my mood, you just have to undock and engage it, catch it on a gate, blob the ■■■■ out of it, do whatever cowardly thing you wanna do, and let’s get on with it.

However, to be engaged in a pve ship, which is a helpless victim of a shitty pve design, is not an option, and this will not be happening, under no circumstances.

You want someone to stop my pve operation? Tell him to HTFU, man up, and start making timers, like I’ve been doing it for the last 5 years. No other option will be provided, even if I have to stop it myself in order to not let others stop it (leet pvpers who think this is cowardly, go pick on HKRAB and other wormhole chickens who unanchored their keepstars when threatened with eviction).

Making me being targeted in a ship that cannot fight back by poor design will not work. Period.

(and ■■■■ off with 13000th round of “you can rat in pvp ship” (NO) or “pver ship can fight back” (NO) - any of those points have been already discussed till everyone’s been sick of it, and will not be repeated)

Outer Ring has the unique Outer Ring Excavation (ORE) agents. Which is the only direct way to obtain ORE modules in their LP store. As well as BPO for barges. Or prepare to pay the mark-up for someone else’s effort. What’s not going the change is that they are camped 23½/7. It is easier to risk Concord exchange LP for 40% returns. Plus 4C-B7X is highway. Leaving NM-OEA as bad alternative.

One day I would really like to see statistics for the volume of missions actually run for ORE.

Then fight the campers. The missions also leave 85% of the region untouched as they only send you away 2-3 jumps from each system. Good multipliers appearing in systems like the Sole constellation would help bring people there, or allow rewarding daytrips for people already living in the area.

I’d also like to see statistics for that region. I think it is a shame that the ship BPO are not locked behind the LP store, though. That would have given this region a very important role to play during the first years of the Rorqual Madness.

What’s the point of good multipliers if you get 20 minutes worth of pve there, and even with max multiplier it’s still peanuts?

Anomalies and signatures accrue in remote systems and can give much more to do than just 20 minutes of ratting.

This is hilarious to read. Thank you.

I do believe you that you have pvp experience and do those things you claim, but if the ESS is a no-go for you, just farm c5s instead, you certainly have the funds by now to just switch tracks.

yes directly. 50% is healthy state.

Dude. If my objective was “more ISK”, all I needed to do was apply to any bloc, get into a super under umbrella, and turbokrab till I have a titan and can replace it.

I would have NO PROBLEM with any change that affected those turbokrabs, who are the reason beyond wealth inflation. Me, who had to drop even carrier ratting, because the unending stream of roaming morons became insufferable to even be in a carrier, was never a problem - yet with this MESS (do not confuse Mandatory ESS aka MESS with current ESS - very very different mechanics) it’s me who’s getting shafted, while turbokrabs and botters are barely affected, just like in blackout, bots are still there, alive, and healthy, and I can’t even bring myself to sub with $ due to how much blackout PTSD it triggers.

Scrap the MESS, just give me the dynamic index - no problem whatsoever. Turbokrabs get reduced, I get the same or slight increase depending on how “interaction” mechanics works, all is well. But no, gotta wreck me…

what keeps you from taking the bounty in MESS yourself and then let everyone who gets an email (I hope they still get an email) with the loss claim their share and get it as soon as you sell the items from MESS?

I guess it will work like SRP in the long run. One will always steal and then distribute if you claim the Bounty RP. BRP instead of SRP?

CCP is quite determined to change the game until the 3 people on this forum that respond to every post are perfectly happy.

I’m confused though – why raise adms now?

One thing your dev team fails to understand is New Eden was was always a master class in balance. You keep taking things away and offering no tangible offset.

I get your idea but you just continue to scream you don’t know this game nor its players.

As MESS on Sisi says now, you can only steal a part of it, the rest is destroyed. Even if you managed a blue steal, it’s still a reduced amount, and (I don’t want to say it, because it’s a bug that 100% won’t get fixed) but there are ways to interfere with a blue steal and get a part of it without any pvp contest.

Ok, ty. how much is it reduced?
Anyway, it would be the way to get at least a part safely
