Crimson Harvest 2017 info/thread

Apparently the noises worked. Please let us know if this is still an issue.

Resolved an issue when trying to inject an accelerator when the previous accelerator expired shortly after downtime and login.

Side note: if you still have the problem, please submit a bug report. Help us nail it down by providing information such as if you were in a station/space/structure/etc and when it expired or when you injected it.

Thanks - you guys rock! PS. Really enjoying the new forums format. Oh, I was going to request one thing: Is there any chance you guys can go back to the old way of listing patches, ie: where the latest updates were placed at the top instead of the bottom?

Yes, please!

Thanks @CCP_Dragon for focusing the drops in one wreck. Personally, I see a lot more fights happening in this event than the last one.

Overall, I think this event is spot-on rewarding, conflict driving and, therefore, engagement.

Oh this, so much this.

Yeah, I had trouble finding it too. It’s backwards.

I’ll make noises at people to see if they can change it.

yay :lips:

By “spot on” you mean that you have to visit the NES to get the best skins?

I could not care less for skins to be honest.

Edit: I do enjoy the ISK it brings selling them.

I just wanted a black and red Kronos emblazoned with a while skull…

That would look sharp, although I would settle for a Roden Shipyard skin which would be darn close.

No actually
I don’t need a citation. Go check the market. No o e is buying some of these skins because there are none available on the market.
None on market means no demand because the price is way to high.
If I do want one I get Plex and buy it myself because it’s cheaper than buying from other players so the market is almost non existent for rare/good skins.

If there were a healthy skin market they would be affordably priced and people would be competing against each other to sell them.
The fact I look up some skins I want and see there’s 0 available anywhere in game proves it’s in bad shape.
The only skins widely available are the bulk event skins like the ones from rogue swarm that are 1m a piece that ccp had to liquidate.
No one bought poop green valimor legacy skins so ccp got rid of them all in rogue swarm and took the less popular skins off the NES and they hiked the prices on new skins to try and squeeze what they could out of people.

Not even gonna get started on the fact any other game would just let you make your own skins with a camo creator/livery editor.
The nes is terribly unhealthy as are microtransactions in general when done as poorly as they are here.

And no the pricing doesn’t solve itself. The game nearly melted down when monocles happened. The pricing didn’t change CCP got greedy and players rioted until ccp corrected their own egregious behavior lol.
Theyre going into the same territory with 30 dollar skins.

When did that start? I was wondering why the patch notes were suddenly a week or two behind.

Thank you for changing cooldown timers to daily challenges. I appreciate it a lot.

From my point of view Crimson Harvest is the best event ever.

Look like the Patch Note order has been fixed.

Thank you CCP

Please restore Market functionality to “Expired” items.

Thank you for naming Expired accelerators appropriately, but I think CCP went a step too far in removing them from market trading, now that they are properly named. Players should be able to sell or scam away something that says it’s Expired and unusable. Players should trust that items named for a purpose will do what they say, I have no problem if someone wants to buy an item that clearly says “expired.” The market confusion caused by not adding “Expired” to the name, was only that the “expired” state was unfairly buried in small text.

Was a nice event, made the 400 points, a couple hundred million, and restored my sec status, even ran one resource wars site to get the 10 points for mining. I very much like the new chained rewards. Also the affordable accelerators encourage actual usage. With the previous event I farmed them only for the market (knowing the cheap ones will come with the blood raiders soon  )

Yeah, was a nice event. I got to the highest mark without any shot fired just by being there (thanks to all these generous players who worked hard to make me points!) and on the way have stolen some skins and accelerators (not many mind you!).

Nice side stuff when main character is busy with PvP roams.

Would do again!
:ok_hand:

I had a blood raider battleship spawn in room 3 wave 3 with battle cruiser, cruiser, and frigate. Had boosters in the battle cruiser and skin and clothes in the battleship.

Never seen wave 4 in room 2.
