I have scanned over 150 Crimson sites in Null Sec. Surely the RNG can’t be that bad where not 1 single Criterion Cipher has dropped?!

I do agree tho that the loot drops from these event sites seems really low. Maybe because im doing them in high sec it’s giving me low-tier loot - idk. I definitely lost the hype of this after the second day.
What do you mean “maybe”?
The sites pay dramatically better in low and null, and the ones in the high value constellations pay 5-10 times that.
I dont see that anywhere in the patch notes but OK.
Do patch notes need to explicitly detail that rewards are better outside of high sec?

Well… you’re writing as if it’s a stated fact not just general knowledge.
I’m just saying the loot seems terrible this time around because I was making 100M every 10 mins in high sec during one past event and these loot rewards seem terrible compared to that.
For example: I’m not even getting regular blue-loot like items (i.e. Overseer Sabik Vial that you turn in/sell at DED stations) when I finish sites.

Assuming you mean the crimson gauntlets and now the hacking sites, they don’t drop from the site itself, they are a rare chance as a drop from NPC’s who spawn through a rift when you end a room in either the crimson gauntlet or tetrimon base, if you’re skipping room 2 and just using the shortcut key then you’re reducing your chances of finding a cypher as each room has a chance to spawn a rift when its completed, the data sites afaik do not have a chance to drop them
They’re a possible drop from the bioadaptive cache spawns in data sites. Not a very inspiring drop rate, though.
