Crimson Gauntlet / Tetrimon sites

Hey guys, id just like to feedback on the sites, i did about 25 sites, slightly more crimson gauntlets then tetrimon in lowsec.

The loot is horrible and completely not worth it,

I got 1 escalation out of a tetrimon site and that was today

I had one site spawn/encounter the wreckage that spawned the barghest that almost killed me (note here, there was 60mil in the barghest - the only actually good drop)

Average loot per site is about 15-20mil, i got 6-7 cerebral accelerators out of the 25 sites

No faction loot, escalation dropped 20mil total,

Maybe im on an extremely bad streak, but we used to get about 50-60mil per site in lowsec, my corp asked if they were worth it, and man.. compared to previous years no, they definitely are not.
Maybe its better closer to where blood raiders are but i guess the rest of eve can’t enjoy in the faction loot we used to get, or the better overall isk/time invested.
I’l still do the sites as i need the accelerators, but when i get like 15mil on average and no drops that feels really really sad..

If out in lowsec, I’d go with exploration. Each site usually drops 20-30 million and only takes 5 mins to complete in a cheap hacking ship. easy $$$

honestly, avoid the Events, they’ve not been good for some time.

You forget the ā€˜loot’ of the event reward track.

Points for completing a site are worth something too right?

I am at around 4B loot after completing the Event in two chars. Skins and other drops that don’t have a market price or are directly injected not even counted… Thats around the same value I had in the last two years. The point isn’t how much a single site drops, but how quickly you can do them…

Yeah,

I’ve finished the reward track and honestly, the c2 sites are way better. Sure no bounties, but the drops make up for that, and they take far less time.

To add to that, CCP just buffed c2 and left gauntlets as they are. Sucks.

Depends on the ship you use. A Bio-Site always takes at least 10 minutes. Tetrimons/Gauntlets can be done much faster, but that of course require a MUCH more expensive ship and MUCH higher skills.

But I agree, for the overwhelming majority of players the Bio-Sites are the much better choice.

I finished the event yesterday just using the class 2 sites.

I used a Fleet issue Thrasher with autocannons, it killed the ships so fast it was a bit boring waiting for the next wave to appear.

But I got some good skins and Skinr goods along with the ISK and boosters so it was all worthwhile.

This just dropped for me in HS from a C2 site lol.

I’m close to finishing the event, currently at 820 points…

Been using T3 Loki Cruiser doing mostly exploration, hacking the Crimson Harvest Network Nodes… When done with those, will refit and run the Crimson Gauntlet combat sites…

Loot seems plentiful, haven’t found anything yet to get all excited about… Hopefully I’ll find something super special before the event is done…

Yeah, thats basically their profit driver. The standard loot is okayish, but the interesting thing are the ā€œjackpot dropsā€, like rare skins / SKINR licenses / faction items or the high-tier attribute boosters. They push your total profits quite a bit above the usualy missionrunning profits you can make with 1 account in HS.

Yeah, can’t argue with that…

Along with all the usual stuff, I’ve gotten a lot of different skins, skinr mats, BPC’s, Apparel, some Faction mods and boosters… The only ones I actually check are the boosters to see which ones are usable to boost my ship stats…

I’ll check everything else when I’m done with the event, hopefully one of them will be super special..

the rare skins and sknr garbage drop in value alleged rare crap found 6 days in worth 1.4 billion 3 days later crap was worth 260k isk

it’s a worthless joke.

Looks like you didn’t run enough sites then. Or don’t understand how to use the market. Nobody forces you to sell when prices are low. I have made more than 4 billion ISK profit on a single weekend just from Tetrimon/Gauntlet sites, like the last years. About half of it from the standard tokens (warclones/overseer vials) and bounty, the other half from drops.

The only reason I don’t grind them for the entire duration of the event is that they are a tiresome repetetive grind without any real challenge or excitement. But they are a true money printer.
