CSM 14 has been elected!

CSM? You mean Council of Nullsec Domination.

You might as well remove all the other areas of the game because why bother.

Pah you know what I’m saying

Goes back to my statement about… FAIR REPRESENTATION.

2 from each style or sector of play.

2 High
2 Low
2 Null
2 WH
2 FW

CSM of 10.

Ahh, thank you very much.

No pressure, right?

Never met him ingame.

And you are right:
People who pay (in IRL cash or plex) for multiple accounts deserve just as much of a voice as anyone else in the game

As much as anyone else! Right! ONE Voice!

And btw, he’s a good example why over extensive/exaggerated use of Multiboxing in PvP has to be regulated more and not getting more freedom/support.
Bringing down someone with an oversaturation Attack is zero skill.

If you can kill someone more skilled then you, as a single person by throwing 20 ships at them, then there’s something horrible wrong. That is, de facto, Pay2Win.

you can activate multi boosh at the same time but everyone is left going wtf just happend as there is a delay its just not noticeable, especially when you pick up a hitch hiker mid way quite funny.

I see this a lot, and it’s really really silly.

How do you envision the elections working?

If you categorise the voters and say they can only vote in their silos you add a ludicrous amount of overhead and arguments over categorisation. (for example I live mostly in highsec but am a member of GSF in which silo do I vote?)

If you don’t categorise the voters and everyone gets to vote in each election, then, well, the goon preferred candidates will win literally every seat.

All this before you even get in to what makes a particular candidate fit in a particular bucket. (I suggest a very high powered blender)

After hundreds of stream hours, tens of videos, particular material on explaining how I do what I do, AND getting elected to CSM (which means passing a close CCP inspection), if anyone still talks about me input broadcasting 95% they are Goons/Goon friends upset about me for other reasons. They pick up random unverified narratives people create in their echo chambers, jabber, discord, teamspeak etc, and spread around places like here.

I’ll have you know I’m the only CSM member who campaigned for a 1-person-1-vote rule, despite having 80 accounts.

And ofc, the two people here complaining about me input broadcasting/multiboxing/having many accounts here are in the same Goon-friendly alliance. Echo chambers.

you miss the point - whoever decided that Eve should be updated and modified via popularity contests setting the pace should think twice…oh wait, they probably left the company years ago.

Personally I’ll always be suspicious about someone who feels the need to have that many accounts.

Being in a Goon-friendly Alliance is of no relevance.
Maybe you should do your research. You would know, that the Sixth Empire is friendly to (almost) everyone.

Didn’t expected that low, cheap level of “arguing”, completely missing the point/topic, from a CSM.

That is only thanks to CCP. Thanks to them you need a number of accounts and characters to be able to inflict the tiniest bit of damage to a large, bloated and way too powerful entity. And even with all this multiboxing, Olmeca does nothing but cause a tiny scratch in the surface of this blown way out of proportion mechanics abusing apparatus down there. Even while deployed, only 2T ISK could be destroyed. That is not even 50% of the mining yield in the same period, and only a mere 13% of the production volume. If anything, there should be more multiboxers like Olmeca in Delve to actually make Delve dangerous in comparison to what is being mined, ratted and produced there. In contrast to the 20, 30, 40 50 alts strong Rorqual, VNI or carrier alt armies in Delve, Olmeca actually causes destruction with these alts and by that helps EVE be an a little bit more healthy place.

Whoever lives in Delve and supports this rubbish down there is just a Goon. There is no reason to sugarcoat it nor to beat around the bush. SE could have chose any number of areas to setup their base if they are so “friendly to almost everyone”. However, they elected Delve because goons would provide the best protection for SE’s own bot-aspirant members in their VNIs and a hand-holder that is utmost detrimental to EVE. In lore terms it’s a suitable location, though, because that heretical pope has always been a blood raider shill.

Nope, no pressure. ;D

Nah, we just need more candidates representing HS (PVE and PVP both) playstyles and also NPSI fleets like Jayne Fillon was in his one CSM year before he apparently quit EVE for Overwatch of all things. (hey, I quit TF2 for EVE, so… it’s all quite circular)

Yep, each person in reality has one voice. But each account has one vote in the CSM elections because CCP probably can’t reliably tie every single account to its owner with 100% confidence. IP and e-mail and asking people to fess up to who they are on each account all have their shortcomings as detectors.

The only multiboxing I’ve done in PVP is fly 2 or 3 HACs/pirate cruisers/t3cs/t3dds/assault frigs at the same time, manually controlling each one and thus not really being as good at is as I would have been just controlling one. I mostly multibox in PVE and mining more than in PVP… and I was going to say “heavily” multibox (meaning a lot of inputs, a shitton of work) with my 3 total accounts but stopped myself since this was a convo about Olmeca and the people I know who have 10 to 40 accounts in incursions.

All things are relative. I also know plenty of people who only own 1 EVE account, have for years, and refuse to even get a 2nd one to make their lives in-game easier (IMO, 2 accounts is the bare minimum for a tolerable EVE lifestyle with the things I have done and currently do in game, but 3 and above is all luxury, not necessity, to me).

Hahah, yeah it is quite funny to watch. I haven’t seen it in person, but on youtube, I mean. Most I’ve seen in person is just a single or double MJD being executed.

I thought they needed to be staggered for what Olmeca does because if you hit 'em all at once there’s a chance some of the command dessies’ll get left behind?

I, too, would be fine with 1-person-1-vote if CCP could actually control for that, which they probably can’t… </just 3 accounts speaking, tired of filling out 3 ballots… egad, 80 ballots…>

They can. There are worked-out proposals on that. It needs some devtime. Devtime is the precious thing.

Staggering just help’s control the direction a little better as once you hit the mjd you cannot change direction or slow down, every time a boosh goes off everyone within 6km’s gets moved unless they are under scram then they get left behind, so technically speaking the shorter the time between booshes the less chance of someone burning out of the 6km radius of the active boosher at that moment.

Technically its possible to aim one guy towards your target and the 2nd com desi facing backwards and activate the guy facing forward just before and you can pick up your target and return to your original spot with your now helpless enemy and the closer the time between booshes the less time the enemy has to react xD.

Tbh, that would be very easy.

In Germany we have “Postident”. You go to a Office of your State Mail Provider (RL Mail that is) with your ID Card and proof that you are a real Person.
And i don’t think that this is something special to Germany. Every Country has this kind of Service.

So, just make only Accounts able to vote which have been verified by Postident. It’s that easy.

And you too. You did not do your research.
That System in Delve was not “choosen”. It was gifted. We are just Guests over there. 6E is no Langrabbing Alliance.

No one ever rejected the same offer from Test, PH or every other Alliance. They were just non-existent.

… but a lan-crabbing alliance. and not even good at that. Furthermore, you do understand that “taking gifts” from certain entities comes with a price, right? The price in your case is that you are a goon and your lovely leader a blood raider disciple. Simple.

What kind of silly stuff you are talking?!
Are you trying to play some Roleplay crap? I hope so. If not, you should get some help.

Simple but not simple answer is, poling stations like in the US of A.

You have to register to vote aka, have your HOME station set in the “sector” of space you want to be voted in. And must be Omega, and have been there for a set amount of time… say 90days prior to the election. This would help alleviate some of the voter tampering that WILL happen.
