Thats really like saying gangs and fleets is ‘something horrible wrong.’
I dont expect you to understand this of course but the premise is the exact same whether one person is controlling those accounts… or 20… though if you can multibox 20 accounts in pvp like a proper fleet id be amazed.
Do we get to talk with/post to/email CSM about what we’d like as players, or are we simply floating in the aether as individuals? Because I’m a mostly solo player who doesn’t forum troll (much) and who hasn’t a clue if I’m really represented by these fine corp/alliance members whose character/corp/alliance names are unknown to me.
I went through that forum and looked at various topics. It’s customer service lite. The CSMs decide which issues are tenable according to the thread intro, and they’re doing what, picking from those topics that are started by folks who use the forums? That’s never been a sampling of players in general in any game, just a sampling of players who post.
Not that the CSM themselves are without merit, I’m sure they’re lovely folk. But if I’ve got a gripe with the boss, why would I talk to the secretary?
Please don’t feel the need to be defensive, neither my opinions nor the shortcomings of a CSM position are your fault. That psychic part, though, should be worked at <3
You are the wave of fresh air many of us have been waiting for some time now in Eve online. Personally, I am grateful to those who have voted for you in my absence (just recently viewed all your adventures, interviews, podcasts, etc.). We have witnessed the many bumps you have come across your Eve-life, which has made you a better being, a better pilot than most vets (inc myself), and the right leader for those who engage with the game and its community, differently and passionately.
There will be a lot more tumultuous waves coming your way now that you are in the spotlight, but I am confident those challenges will reinforce your character. I support your endeavor entirely, and encourage you to keep steadfast. You are an inspiration to both returning and newbros, so swim against the tide as often as you need to, we’ll back you up. At the end of the day, your fresh perspective is what this game needs. Thank you Olmeca & God Speed!
