People usually start specialised to some extent.
CCPs design has a strong impact on how a player develops.
The design discourages indi pilots from training or interacting with combats. CCP designated them prey by design so their entire gameplay is built around avoiding combat as much as possible.
It’s a basic stick and carrot behaviour training system.
People can have more than one character…a combat and an indi fore example. My point is that most indi types don’t play for PvP but rather PvE in the first place so the guys doing the mining/hauling/PI need to have others in their corp that focus more on the PvP for protection.
This generally doesn’t happen though as can be seen by all the 1-man corps owning stations so that the main corp can avoid WDs.

PvP players cannot kill you. You have local chat. If you do not dock when PvP player enters your system, that means you want pvp. Otherwise you are afk without botting program, that docks you automaticaly. That means you are at fault here.

i game on my i3 laptop with 8 gig ram and my 7 year old asus 22in 1 ms screen i dont have 6 comps running 3 screens and 9 clients each as a botnet or some other crap i pay for 2 accounts and i alt tab between them i dont run 3rd party ■■■■ programs…but just about every usefullness of my alt tab hisec operation has been robbed from me along with my money for said actt …as for the people happy that i am having issues with being robbed, eventually griefing cocksucking basdtards get theirs in the end.

A few years ago the community was much more toxic, luckily many of them have left the game and many continue to do so, give it some time and demographics will render them irrelevant, since more and more players who won’t tolerate toxicity join eve.

Because some people are smart enough to understand that scarcity drives prices upward and benefits the players who are smart enough to exploit the opportunity, while convincing CCP to make the game easier and give everyone more income just creates inflation and devalues the success of the smart players.
