You build things so others can destroy them…cycle of life…don’t like that then go build somewhere else
And this is exactly why ignorant farmer trash like you doesn’t get to decide how EVE works.
OMG why are you NOT working for CCP. EVERYTHING you have said is DEAD ON.
Probably because for that to happen, they’d have to fire two easygoing guys whom they like and get along with and who don’t rock the boat, to hire one person who’d annoy everybody and make them work harder.
Working harder doesn’t work out in the long-run anyway.
Officially is stated as a sandbox game
but people mostly want just pvp
But they made alpha so damn good . I do not see any good reason to omega at this point . I play a few hours . gank who I want . do what I want - hell I can even do a conduit with ease if I want - I cant mine worth a crap - but this is a pvp game , so they opened up a ton of pvp capability and I use it . don’t get mad at me for doing to the game what every Eve players does [ screw over who you can ] . BTW , hope all in RL is safe and sound . be well
The whole reason the player economy and ISK was worthless in the first place, is because “pve players” were able to get on by in complete safety. The market is choking at the grasp of over-supply and a lack of demand (which is driven by loss from PVP) PVE and PVP exsist in balance. One cannot exsist without the other.
Back in the day, nowhere was safe. Ratting was a luxury you might get every other day for a few hours. The game was engaging, fun and each ship had a real meaning to you because you might not be able to replace it.
Friend, like it or not being hard to kill is part of the problem. You should not be able to rat up billions of isk in complete safety, when you yourself have done nothing to secure your fate. Why should you get to make all the money you want with minimum effort. When we cant even kill you using spies, awoxers and dirty little tricks?
You are part of the problem. If you realise that or not is another matter.
“uphill both ways in the snow”
condensed your post for you.
Eliminate PVE from the game without CCP taking over the market, and maybe. If anything Eve is really a progression game. Mining → industry (building toys) → market (you buy toy) → pve (meta upgrades from loot drops) → lose ship in pve/pvp. That would basically sum up the life cycle of any ship in eve except giveaways from CCP. Sorry for late, just got back into forums after a long time
Then Remove the PvE from the game entirely… That’s the only way you’re gonna solve this dilemna. Eve will lose players, but i’m sure the standing PvP portion will be sustainable.
As for the idea of only 1 individual per Corporation/Alliance. That won’t happen, everyone on this game Multi-clients or have alts in different Corps. Regardless of the ability to end corruption, it will still be there.
Been hearing this for decades, and yet here we are.
We humans define our reality through misery and suffering. A perfect Eve would be a dream that players would try to wake up from. That is why CCP designed the game like this, with tears and paranoia, to keep people from unsubbing.
Economics 101 taking money from the poor to reduce excess cash in the economy wont work. You know where all the cash is and its not 3 ship Pve players
Economics 101 is that you ALWAYS take the money from the poor.
And what has gotten nerfed the hardest since that comment I made a year and a half ago? Nullsec.
Not 3 ship PVE players. So, hey.
Those nullsec bounty payouts look pretty stable.
The mining numbers don’t. And compare the ratting numbers to April 2019.
