Paladin for me as well - can’t beat cheap ammo , 100 km optimal with pulses…I love it . Proj ships only when doing explosive
The Paladin is a pro at 10/10 DED sites (Blood raider naval shipyard). They are just so tanky and damaging.
The new king is the Nyx or the Hel. Both do insane damage and break 100mil/tick from what I’ve heard.
Did you not know that the bastion module being active would prevent a warp? What would you like as an alternative? Would you like all modules to inactivate when you get logged off?
It’s changed, the Paladin is largely the best marauder for missions as long as your doing them versus casual rats/sansa/blood raider/serpentis. However the Golem is still king versus angel/gurista. Paladin can simply achieve INSANE dps, and apply it with great tracking at roughly 100km range with mega pulse.

I find 900 turret dps not that super insane. A Phoenix in bastion can do 3600dps.

Phoenix has no bastion, dummy. Has siege mod.
And that’s 900 dps at like 100kms or more, for the record…
Pair that with the good tracking of lasers, instant damage, tractors, room for your next 6 years worth of ammo in cargo, and closer to 1300 dps up close with pulses, half the time it doesn’t even matter that you’re restricted to em/therm cause things just melt.

Carriers seemto be the way to go in Null. As for me I stick to cheap so I fly a Raven for PVE and lvl 4s.
Nope, it is 18km-ish for the conflagration of things. I don’t know how you get 900dps at 100km unless you fit 9 tracking enhancers and 4x scripted targeting computers…

Rattlesnakes are the best when it comes to the amount of things they can do. I have a 10/10 rattlesnake that I use for running 10/10’s, officer hunting, and clearing rats for my corp mates. Works very well, but a bit pricey.
You need more heatsinks. More is gooderererererer.

In summary for OP, I think the general consensus seems to be…
Rattle -> Pally/Golem -> Carrier
I use an oracle for ratting. Fit 8 tachy beams, warp in at 100 and melt stuff. Can alpha the frigs, 2-3 salvos for the cruisers, about 8-12 for the bs. If something gets too close, mwd is your friend.
