I generally dislike these blocky styles of fictional alphabets. Real written languages were shaped by the writing media, either chiselled into stone (such as the Latin alphabet, descended from early Semitic scripts) or painted on wood and paper (written Chinese, descended from earlier written Chinese), and evolved into forms that can be more readily etched into a clay tablet/written with pencil, that then evolved into the fonts we use on computers. These blocky-style fictional fonts are really only viable to type, not to write, they don’t display any hint at what they’re supposed to have evolved from, there’s no obvious stroke order or practical handwritten form.
I would have rather they just continued using the latin alphabet in EVE. If they start doing in-game ads using this on the station displays for example, they’re going to clash really badly with all the other ads, and most importantly with the player-made ones. Particularly the mix of thick and thin strokes indicates this may have evolved from a painted alphabet, but then you would expect whoever made the computer font to have had the aesthetic taste to preserve the flowing styles of the original alphabet. Exaggerated angularity indicates an alphabet that was designed to be chiseled.
