If you’re actually harvesting gas in low I’ve no idea why you’d prefer putting a big target on your back with an expensive prospect instead of a cheap free-stabbed venture.
Prospects have beefy shields and fit covops cyno, of course people will bring T3C ships to poke the bait or get a shiny killmail. It’s a guaranteed „kick me“ ship.

Claoky T3 cruisers have a locking delay of 5 seconds with max skills before they can start locking. That’s usually enough to get away when you pay attention - or mine somewhere they have to scan down and see their probes on d-scan.

the ship does not need a buff by any means. although some kind of drone bay would be a benefit.
the problem you are having is your play style is that of a high sec miner . get out of that mentality if you want to mine anywhere else in the game . if it is only one person that actively hunts you , set standings on that character so he pops when he jumps in local , as soon as you see him in local stop mining and cloak. he is not going to sit around forever trying to find you , but instead move to the next system and try to find an easy target.
do not give them something to shoot at and they can’t. especially in low sec you have to pay attention or you will get popped if you try to afk mine.

1: You don’t know how to use d-scan properly.
2: You don’t know what you really should and shouldn’t be mining with a Prospect.
3: You mine in an area where you know a ganker who is good at it actively hunts.
4: You think the problem is with the Prospect.

I’ve lived in low for 15 years, bearly touched high sec.
You just have no idea what the actual situation is, you are reading 2 sentences and assuming the rest so I’m deleting the topic since people are just sprouting nonsense at this point and its a waste of everyone’s time.
the ship is just defenseless and worse than a venture.
