Which only makes it worse, because they wouldn’t have paid that much if they didn’t think they could spin it to crank out profit. The only way they’re going to do that with EVE is to drastically change it and find a new playerbase to hardcore milk.
I feel sorry for the players that invest thousandsss during last couple of years to have a reliable fun to play and now will see this going down so fast.

there could be other reasons they wanted the company that involve making profit or enriching their own company in other ways
like when a car company buys another company
they dont care about the other company and basically liquidate it
they just want the factory and the tech they developed
