Isnt that exactly what EA told the hundreds of companies they have bought up, over the years, and are now closed down or merged into bigger studios? You can pretty much count on one hand, how many companies survived the EA knife lol.
Nobody in the real business world, will buy a company and not want to have a say in whats going on. Thats simply not gonna happen. CCP will be judged on income, and things will happen, depending on the overall number on the bottom line, like every other private company in the entire world.
Not to mention that BDO is an extremly grindy MMO, in fact one of the most grindy ones in the world and its riddles with p2w, because thats how you make alot of money today.
Eve will go down the same route, if CCP cant make the requird money, on their own.
