So here’s what I want… I want something from PA telling us what their plans are for Eve.
Obviously we won’t get the truth, if it’s bad, but it would be nice if they would say something like “we like the way Eve is and we want to preserve that”.
As it stands, I’ve preemptively cancelled all of my subs. If they keep Eve the way it is (in fitting with the design concepts at least) and don’t ruin the game, I’ll resub. Until then, it’s plexing time.

they havent made an investment yet
they only pay 425 if ccp meets targets
so if anything it will be ccp going hard p2w to meet the targets
and if they dont then its game over

RIP Eve. It was fun while it lasted. PA is one of the worst game companies on the planet and you really only could have picked one other company that would have been worse.

If you are wanting to make a statement this is a bad way, there is a net increase when paying with Plex.

So we might end up having an annoying black oilspot popping up resulting in you loosing all control of your character for 5-30 seconds, while other people simply kill you…
Dropped BDO mainly for that very reason.
So, we’ve had our abyss and they had theirs. Let’s hope one turns out better than the other.
Shrug, I’m not purchasing the plex from them, I’m buying it from players. If other players want to pay money to keep it going, that’s on them.
My “statement” is that I’m not going to give them money until I know where they’re taking this game. Nothing else.

If I see auto ratting, mining, special ammo, modules, pony’s and ships in any sort of microtransaction that you see in Black Desert i’m off.
No idea why CCP just didn’t go public, at least then people who play the game can have a stake in it and know what it’s all about.

They didn’t spend $425 million for “knowhow” and “developers.” They spent $425 million to make money off EVE—both real dollars and market cap dollars.
EVE is already fully P2W. PLEX and injectors have seen to that. What difference would loot boxes make?
