Nuh uh eve isn’t p2w your assets can be completey annihilated unlike most soul binding durp MMOs. Any vet has the funds to put 5 bil fittings on a frigate but they normally don’t for that reason.

The stronger they feel the player base is, the stronger they will make the game P2P. Why? Because then they know how scared you are about loosing the game, and how much you want to still play it. It just tells them that, there is a higher chance that you will be willing to pay more just to play the game.
Step one, make sure they do not go past buyournes.
I did think about that but honestly I love this game, I play it more that any other, but I will walk away if PA ruins it w P2W too much. WoW and ESO are fine w me if they do. I wanted to be playing EVE for years to come but the players and they way it’s set up is what keeps me here. If PA changes that I’ll leave. I know bills have to be paid and employees have to feed their families but the greedy P2W PA business model is just plain and simple CRAP… But I promise the first time I see the scissor gang mafia with cat ears and avatars in short skirts with their panties showing just to attract basement dwelling mouth breathers who live at moms house I’m gone… JS

PA shelled out half a bil for CCP, that’s an aquisition if you ask me.
Good idea, Pearl Abyss might be able to introduce a Smart Secure Vortex that automatically protects everything your ship/structure has and teleports them to a safe place before the imminent destruction of said ship/structure.

So finally we can say that “Eve is dying”.
I read that CCP/PA has the same DNA. Well… if we consider the ability to not take care of feedback, dismiss customers service, and add skins/stuffs while leaving major issues ingame, then I must agree.
Still, I would be happy to be wrong and see CCP really keeping the hands of Eve while PA would change THEIR way of doing things and make BDO better.
But chances it would happen are too low to be statisticaly relevant.
CCP will have to proove us that EVE will remain as it is even as its actual bad shape, but I am rather sure that they will fail.
So, can we already know the cost for the drone pet who give a loot bonus ?
If you think that some shitty Korean MMO company shares ANY cultural relationship with EVE you have not only totally lost sight of your user base you have totally lost sight of reality. There is a reason why alliances consider 100% of KMMO’s "game of the month"s.

EVE has like my second job since I played last December 2017. Playing 12 hours on week ends and around 8 hours on week days. After what happened recently (the acquiring of CCP by another developer), this worries me that they might change what eve really is.
I think I’ll just starting liquidating my unwanted assets and hope for the best.

Well dang that quite a bit of isk isn’t it, that means they must have some grand plans in store.
That’s pretty close to being bigotry, to label every person as unable to grasp the culture of eve, first things first, they bought the keys to the kingdom, they can do whatever they want to that kingdom, we only rent a little 1x1 inch pixel in that kingdom so let’s stand back and not jump before anything happens, with the kinda money they paid I’m sure they will try to make it work, makes no sense to buy it then destroy the whole.
You all should keep some perspective here.
Our community is tiny compared to other games so any major fiddling with the game can end up killing it outright.
PA can just maintain EVE online the current pc game as a nice steady stable revenue source and bank much more on future projects such as the pc fps shooter or mobile game based off EVE.
There is also much to learn about player retention we have people who invested dozens of thousands of gameplay hours and been subed for over a decade.
People lose interest in games fast nowdays so said games end up dead forcing studios to invest in new development.
If PA can copy some useful elements off EVE and make them stick to any mainstream mmo they’d make for western markets it can give the a good stable money source for many years.

Just change few server variables and in secound and whole Jita or whole Hi Sec can be NO FIGHT and NO BUMP zone.

Now you people will see why the game has had it’s first and only PvE event that does not allow for ganking.
There is also more focus on the players going after the Pirate Factions via the new Pirate Forward Operating Bases PVE. You will see many more changes coming to make the game profitable; like more ship types being merged into 1 ship so that less players can handle more of the game.
So after all that wasted effort on splitting the Carriers into 2 parts, now requiring 2 times the people to do the same thing, instead we will start to see many more of these problems being solved, not just this example.
Finally, each player will get to do more than just 1 thing, like HAC versus HIC, as well as more covert ships being merged together for the same reason. This then also applies to the massive problems of running PI as well Moon mining fleets being Required due to that change in game also.
This will move the game more towards the initial goals set forth by the players who started out wanting to be able to become more great and powerful in the game.
