Thats really a pitty. Blackflag would sure love to dominate the mining resources just as they dominate the POCOs. Maybe we should talk to CCP about that, I mean, if blackflag takes all the mining content, then it can’t be helped, and miners face the choice of looking for a new hobby or to go to null, which is just what CCP wants them to do anyways.

10 hours for tier 3 mining respawn is too long because it effectively skips an entire timezone of players. Recommend reducing the time to 4-5 hours.
Find a citadel with a reprocessor, compress. Before than, compression modules in a POS, though back then they were corp/alliance locked, so if anything the current system means fewer targets, and one corporation citadel can service the public and compression is a 0 isk service.
Oh that’s not the issue. A decade ago, Hulks used extra large canisters to hold their ore. They required skills in anchoring to use and you needed a password to access them. Once those were removed, Hulks began using alts to pilot Ore Haulers. Now they use an Orca and compression.
The trend is that Hulk pilots have always done anything they can to limit the number of trips to the station. That was the one and only point I was trying to make and I really thought it was a very simple one.
My only point was that without shipboard compression, Hulk pilots would make Orca alts. I know I would. Limits the number of trips back to the station. More profit. ISK is good.

the respawn timer are for limiting the amount of ores you can actually mine. i mean like m3/day. its intentional. and yes it sucks…
if you have the power and workforce for 2x T2 Mining Anoms - do it. T3 sounds only good for those who have the possibility to use like 3 or 4 T3 across their systems.
I still jet can and scoop with a kyros when I’m chilling in lowesec ice, so nice to just keep the beams running hot. I don’t even bother with compress because at the most besides another miner no one has 1,000m3 to spare in a cargo hold to swipe it.
Good gamers optimize the fun into the game.

If ore compression didnt exist then you didnt have to limit the amount and size of asteroids that spawns.

If that was more common, people probably would make more public mining fleets. I switched back to give boosts only to my corp and alts.
When I suggested to tip the orca pilot when you are invited to a fleet in rookie help channel, people got mad at me and how stupid it is to share profit.

This is why i made a Hulk alt. That way i still get to make profit. But then, ice still isn’t worth the expense of an Orca.
