If they refuse to write about your amazing exploits in WHs, you can always come to C-J and kick us out. You can be sure that CCP will not lower prices for asset safety for us like they did for PH and that will make real world news for sure

BUT i digress, you genuinely seem concerned about the state of the game and safety of assets and i am completely in agreement; sov alliances shouldnt be able to hide behind asset safety or even sov repair mechanics, they shouldnt be able to respond to a small incursion 3 regions away rapidly in force - youre right, its just bad for the game and they should get rid of these things starting in whats supposed to be the most lawless space, null sec.

We were out of C-J. Killed FRT stager and kicked WC from geminate (would have been more fun if they actually fought back).
Interesting that people who want to nerf 0.0 and are concerned with out sov and JBs are people who don’t live there. Let me guess that you have an issue that you can’t just freely gank in our space and are now crying to CCP because despite all your elite skillz you are impotent and can’t do anything of any real consequence so you are left with kb stats and hope that someone is impressed by it.

I want eve to do well. “Power projection” is an imaginary problem yelled about by people who come to 0.0 and then cry about us having defensive fleets. It’s our home and we have to protect it (and this is the case for smaller groups just as much as for largest ones). We don’t have the privilege of living out of perfectly safe NPC stations where nobody can touch us.
CCP keeps balancing the game to benefit “elite pvper” crowd that is loudest one on reddit making it more and more tedious because in their “mind” it makes sense that a single guy in an interceptor can troll an entire alliance.
0.0 is player driven and players are running it. Drone lands are a new growing ground thanks to Asher (one of those evil goons) understanding that there needs to be protected space for smaller alliances to grow and develop. They are protected because both FRT and Init know that if they try to go in there and glass them we will step in.
None of that is changing with these changes except making it more difficult for small groups to live in 0.0. We are large enough and have large enough brain pool to adapt to these changes better than anyone else. But eve is going to be boring if entirety of 0.0 is just imperium. We want the game to last, there is no fun being the king of a dead game.
Actually that is not completely true, the ACL change will encourage smaller members of the coalition to merge into the main alliance making the group cohesion even stronger (see init forming their own block after being a part of Imperium for years).
PS: As for less safety I don’t really care. But it is annoying that people who hide in perfectly safe NPC stations cry about too much safety in 0.0 but have no issue with living in perfect safety. If you remember we were not exactly happy when CCP lowered the prices of asset safety for PH while nothing of the sort happened when tons of our stuff ended up in asset safety during WWB. But we are used to it. CCP devs have been anti goon for a long time since majority of them come from elite pvp crowd that is still mad that they can’t do anything to impact us in the game.
No ones complaining about you forming defence fleets and you will still be able to do that after these changes, so your point is moot.

Why would 7 man corporation have a right to R64 moon? Isn’t EVE this big unforgiving universe where you have to fight for your stuff? They sit there hiding in NPC stations and expect CCP to just give them free isk (that’s what metenox is). If they actually lived in 0.0 instead of NPC stations I would feel different and we would most likely not bother them.
Yes it is lawless. Nothing is preventing is from glassing drone lands. Nothing, except that we don’t want to. It is bad for long-term health of the game so it would be stupid. We want strong alliances. When CCP nuked PH by hiring gobbins we would have stopped attacking for 6 months or a year if they said “we need time to re-organise after CCP stabbing us in the back”. Sadly PH had no leadership other than gobbins so it just fell apart. As I said many times, we don’t want to be king of a dead game.
It will make it a bit harder to get to the people we actually like fighting (FRT and Init) and encourage us to go after smaller entities living closer to us. Of course we will not do that as our leadership, understands it would be stupid (as do most line members) for longevity of EVE. It might also make it easier for FRT to attack drone lands (due to it being a bit more difficult for us to go there and defend) but I doubt that they will do it. Noraus is way too smart for that.
If you think that elite pvpers will have easier time in our space after this change you are dreaming. If anything we will be even more densely packed and even more aggressive with protecting our space (if we can’t go fight FRT because JBs got nerfed only “content” is stepping on elite pvpers in our space). In other words, crying about “power projection” will just intensify as it never had anything to do with actual power projection and more with self entitled people wanting free ganks without any opposition.
You are in an alliance of over 70 THOUSAND characters that owns over 500 systems, at current count an even spread of characters through those systems would put around 138 IN EACH system.

Yes, we are a large organisation. We like playing with friends and building an empire. EVE is supposed to be a sandbox.
You are the one moaning that a 7 man corp can’t have metenoxes. If they were a thing in high sec I very much doubt that a 7 man group would be able to have them there either and that is the “safe” part of space. Sorry, but you don’t get to have free income without working for it.
Drone lands very clearly shows that we do not. Even when we moved into insmother we helped entities living there with isk and access to our space and bridge network so they could move. We don’t have any interest in destroying much smaller entities. It’s not fun (elite pvpers hiding in NPC stations are something different, I’m talking about actually living in 0.0 groups).
The only way CCP will make a stronger group not be able to destroy a weaker group (if they want to that is) is by shutting down eve servers. I would keep hoping that people will realise that but I’m proven wrong nearly every patch.
FRT is relatively close to Jita but neither Init nor we are. Plus being close to Jita doesn’t really impact distance. We are not hiding majority of our assets in NPC stations. We (we as in majority of 0.0) actually live in our space.
Please learn to read. We are not elite pvpers and never were. We don’t care about kb stats, we don’t want free ganks (whaling is fun here and there but in the end real battles are the ones that are most fun). There is a reason why we go fight FRT and Init. They can actually put up a fight. FRT is amazingly fun to fight, just that they are in the wrong TZ sadly.
Because we can and there are no ethical reasons not to. GW is an NPC area without actual 0.0 population. It’s just elite pvpers hiding in NPC stations. If they actually lived in the space rather than in NPC stations I’m pretty sure that Asher would pull us back and leave those metenoxes to locals. Same thing with curse, except it’s VAPOR doing it instead of GSF. Gotta work for that isk and hiding in NPC stations is not working for it.
Just add bubbles to low sec. When you can’t just warp out if things go south dropping of capitals will be a much more rare thing.
Why you would want to do that in a game that is supposedly about conflict I have no idea. But problem with lowsec is that risks are very low as everyone lives from NPC stations. You can’t even kill their stagers to force 15% asset safety tax. That allows bigger groups like snuff to abuse everyone in range.

so after reading this i think that this alliance only ansi thing is a bad idea due to what been said here already. you claim you dont wana disrupt the day to day life but thats what you will be doing on a massive scale this whole thing is going to cause sov issues galore and it might even cause people to quit playing all together because of it. you all say you want smaller groups to thrive smaller groups thrive because of them being able to use each others gates. ok my thing is if a smaller group is under attack they call for allies but there allies cant get there in time because they cant use there gates then the small groups still fall.
