Discord as an obligation

A line member who can keep his mouth shut, wow excellent.

When corps say they need you to be on coms they kinda mean they need you to be on to listen.

Having no voice or lower speaking ability might hamper your fc ability or target callling but would not impede your line ability to any major extent. Any corp or alliance that would not tolerate a mute deeps player is likely going no where fast anyway & not worth joining.

The major issue you will have is recruiters thinking you are a spy & wishing to hide in annomity & silence.

Most of the time you just have to listen to FC/fleet members. Without it hardly goes. One does not have to speak at all.

There are great, successful corps out there that don’t need voice/noise comms.

Fleet stuff at a small scale can work really well on text, pair stuff is OK too, as you learn who you fly with. But, as we all know PvP is best solo… :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Red-Sonja - The Venture is a lot of fun! Try fitting them in unusual ways…

I’ll try different combos for sure. I wish we had more choices in the rigging department. I hope they continue to create more modules and ships too

We have a deaf member in our alliance. He goes on PvP ops as we provide a text interpreter for him. Those of us who can hear are required to at least be able to listen to voice chat.

Yes, I did. Mostly to please Lewak. The truth is, I much prefer voice comms.

Does he have a twin called Prawak?

if i can be in a corp without a mic for 2 years, you can be in one without talking. Also, discord is a text-based platformed.
