[Discussion] PLEX and Omega price changes feedback thread

The price increase is bad for the health of the game. There is no other way to cut it.

I unsubbed my industry/scanner/exploration alt and will start extracting skills until it is a dead husk. My main account will coast on plex until those assets dry up.

Capital and super pilots need two accounts minimum. Wormhole content requires probes on a secondary account. About the only place where a single account is viable is highsec and large fleet actions.

No one wants to fly a dictor main, they simply don’t have enough buttons to push to make my brain cells fire. When I play WoW i have a huge amount of skills bound to keyboard and mouse. The game-play is engaging enough where just one account is fun. My dictor had 3 active modules. While useful, its not 20 dollars a month useful and certainly not 20 dollars a month engaging.

Multiboxing is baked into this game, and was even promoted by CCP when I started running two accounts (power of two).

I’m not paying for another failed shooter or trashy mobile game. I want to pay for development of EVE.

The more it goes the more i believe CCP wants to make EVE into the image of a trashy mobile game. The game is bloated with microtransactions, and i am convinced they are doing what they do to the economy to eventually sell fully fitted ships directly for $ in the future.

The greed took over sadly, game might still be profitable but it will be less and less enjoyable.

I don’t think there is anything the community can do to avoid this.

My main issue with the upcoming price update is that there is no clear added value for the users such as free MCT slots or a significant game expansion. This uncoordinated approach is certainly result of a marketing mistake and is going to damage the brand for a short while.

everybody can see that 1 month omega is 19.99 so the actual raise was 4.99 and not the 5 $ that the trolls talked about .thx ccp if it was 5 $ people would riot and unsub but 4.99 wouao ,just plexed my 30 accounts

Mine was showing 25k at 18:36 then it changed to how yours is showing.

The status endpoint and route (along with others) is red.

Really hope this is just a bug and coincidence and not a sign of removal…

When CCP break endpoints, they get removed from the status API (lol) and spec (lol).

oh…thats a fabulous system.

The only thing left to break then is the status api of the api itself.
