I have been arround this game for quite a while and still like the game very much.
I do however feel that i’m being robbed of my money with the latest omega prices and probably to no of ale will ventilate my frustration on this forum.
EVE should be brought back to the days when your sub was max 10 euro’s a month…
Or even better… where you could farm enough isk to play it for free…
then to make it worth while for ccp make some items in game to be payed with money…
Buy 24 months pack and you will get 11€ per motnh. So where is the problem?

The whole point is that I do not play 24/7 for the whole year.
I just wanna come back feel triggered enough to keep playing.
Just have the monthlies back to 10 euro… We can jump in and out again when real life kicks in…

Not everyone has that kind of money just lying around to blow on a game.

Plus they’ve now increased the sub to £16.00pm because they have added “bonus” items.
Well they need to fund their next failed project.
If you do a long-term investment and use all saving chains, then you can get as low as 6$ per month. I will not repeat it here on how to do it. I have written it down several times in several other threads about this topic and it will also not help you as you do not want and can pay upfront.
So you could consider your other options depending on your requirements. Maybe Alpha is enough for you? Maybe add sometimes a weekend pack? Also there are currently two packs in the store that give you 14/15 days of playtime for 10$. The lvl 1 mastery pack and the explorer career pack.
I mean it is as always, if you can’t afford it, don’t buy it. At least EVE gives you the option to play for free. For the majority of EVEs lifetime this option didn’t exist and you were locked out completely.

I also suspect that it remains, but this is not up for you to tell since you don’t know anything about the thoughts, intentions and life of the op.
As I’ve said many times before, if you can’t afford $20 USD for an Omega sub, there are probably better things you need to be doing with your life than playing online video games…
This requires you commit to 24 months in row, the old pricing way lets you not pay 22 months out of the 24 as CCP errors in code pisse you off and makes you not play.
264 for 24 months of which you only use 2, is 132 per month, much more than 10.
At which point you miss out on millions of SP, get even farther behind everyone else, and complain even more…
I would also like to have food, utility and rent prices from before the Covid, but that’s not going to happen. We had a global inflation that pumped up the prices for pretty much everything.
Take a look at the weekend passs as it works mid week also.
If you are only able to log on a few times a month it is more than perfect.
I am a huge fan of being able to log in a few times a month.
I’m a Gamma player,it’s real in game timer subscription mostly all omega feature with alpha offline training.

You don’t get that SP anyway when your training queue runs out because you simply can’t be assed to log in, that was my last years in High Sec / Dead Sec not made up example.
Is it robbery or incentivization ? I haven’t decided on Omega, Alpha or Epsilon yet.
Is it fun?
I’m a Beta player: testing if I like, love or hate the game. I can undock with special modules and scan 14AU away. A real thrill.
