You know, our Masters just allow us humans to own stuff like birds, dogs and forth to keep us busy until we find a Master.
(Also, each now and then our Masters, being 1/15th of our size despite owning 300% of our intellect, need a scapegoat to bear the blame when we fail to understand the motives and necessity of their actions)
