When I place a buy or sell order, there doesn’t seem to be any difference in the brokers fee whether I choose 1 day or 1 month or anything in between. Is there any disadvantage of just choosing the longest duration (1 month listing) every time?
Not really in most cases. Some people might have a lot of orders up and if a price is peaking or dipping on an item you could try to get a high price (or low for the buy side) but if it doesn’t fill in x time then give up and free the slot, saving time to micro manage that aspect.
