I can confirm this is still happening.
I am a MAC (OSX) User and I experience the same problem in combat sites, especially mission sites. 
Yep, it’s annoying.
I lile playing games with sound on, even EVE. But I recently tried again and turned it back off.
Please fix this audio bug.
Same herre, issue not resolved yet. Please fix this, as I really miss the immersion and I realize that I am currently not playing much and avoid clearing any sleeper-sites.

music bugs also on the test server so no fix in sight yet. i filed a bug report there

This is exactly what I’m experiencing and it only stops if I turn the music slider down to zero. So yeah, still an issue 4 months later CCP..
Still experiencing this too. Bug reports have been opened but no acknowledgment, never mind any sign of a fix. Getting tedious now. Eve has very good music, shame I keep having to turn it off.

I have been having an issue for the last few months where music will glitch and sound like a broken record when entering a combat site and I have to restart the client, and another one where when I log out to the character select screen and change toons the music stops working entirely, so now I have to close the client and restart it every time I change toons. I have filed bug reports to no avail. I actually got so frustrated with it that now i just play with the music volume off and listen to spotify or youtube, because between the broken record glitch and music dying glitch for weeks on end I couldn’t stand it anymore. This is extremely frustrating as EVE music is one of my favorite things about the game. I really miss the old jukebox and wish they would bring it back. I personally have no use for he dynamic music as it always glitches and begins playing so many tracks together at once that it sounds like a hodgepodge. CCPLEASE fix the broken audio and bring back jukebox. Kthxbye.
