It’s one thing where CCP did put concerted effort in recently, the cleanup of market bots, and as an aside the cleanup of market spammers (to a lesser degree). Most likely due to catching up in the tech race, or by figuring out a framework in use in order to enable detection and flagging.
It’ll be quiet for a few more weeks, undoubtedly. But it did show how heavily station trading had become automated. A funny, severel interesting price curves stabilised. How curious…
The market bots are still there and it’s really easy to spot them… They’d use 3 days duration for buy orders, and their characters are all in NPC corps. The character names also only contain 3 vowels (most likely using name generator). And yes, they would still outbid your order by 0.01 ISK within 5-10 minutes…
Most of the bots are around 3-6 months old though. So I suppose the old alts were banned/deleted.
