I was ratting in Aurcel during some event, and I looted a 40m ISK item. Which as a week old noob was a fortune.
I’ve been unable to lock on some ships at Jita even with 2400 scan res. Its all become rather absurd.
Bro it’s it’s so absurd that the server ping has become the most relevant factor in ship fittings even near it. You think that would be a clue to CCP that something is wrong. Sometimes two and three modules on the lows are completely useless and do nothing because we’ve gone beyond the limits of the game simply to avoid PVP. And of course 95% of people probably have no idea what I just said.
I literally named every one of my ships with its scan res and other statistics. It’s pretty easy for me to notice when they’re making changes and not telling the public.
When they added the new little Navy frigates… They did walk this back a little bit by taking away some of the most commonly used fittings out of the sub 2 second category.

Most new players aren’t moving billion isk ships around, nor are they hanging out in wormholes.

What is truly absurd is that my 1000 scan res Fleet Issue Hurricane can lock up ships in no time, yet my 2400 scan res Loki can often struggle. Something is definitely not right.
I have wondered whether having 5 sensor boosters means the time it takes to click them all is longer than a server click so I am only getting part of them cycling in each click.
