This woked for me too on Lutris.
I followed the exec path for eve-online.exe on the game’s configuration to find app-1.10.0 and removed it. for me the path was:
~/Games/eve-online/drive_c/users/<user>/AppData/Local/eve-online
^^^ For you, this path may vary.
