Had a few people asking about hotels and transport. Here is a handy breakdown for you!

Getting to the venue

  • Tram

Manchester is served by the Metrolink tram system covering the majority of the city centre, Manchester airport and Victoria + Piccadilly train stations and is the most convenient for travelling.

The closest Metrolink stop to the venue is “St Peters Square” with the venue being around a 7 minute walk.

A network map can be found below:

https://tfgm.com/public-transport/tram/network-map

  • Car

Parking in the city centre wouldn’t be recommended for a longer visit as it can get costly however there are 2 NCP Car parks near Piccadilly station which have reasonable rates:

  • Store street (M1 2WD) ÂŁ5 on weekends for 24 hours
  • Travis Street (M1 2NG) ÂŁ10 for 4 - 24 hours

With both options, you can take the Metrolink to St Peters Square from Piccadilly train station

Accommodation

There are a number of options within short walking distance of the venue, we would recommend checking booking sites such as booking.com and Expedia as they have some cost effective deals:

Super budget:

  • Easyhotel Manchester (17 minute walk)

2 star:

  • ibis Manchester Centre Princess Street (6 min walk)
  • ibis Manchester Centre 96 Portland Street Hotel (9 min walk)
  • Travelodge Manchester Piccadilly (16 min walk)

3 star:

  • Holiday Inn Express Manchester City Centre (3 min walk)
  • Pendulum Hotel (7 min walk)
  • Britannia Hotel City Centre (10 min walk)

4 star:

  • The Principal Manchester (3 min walk)
  • Hotel Novotel Manchester Centre (8 min walk)
  • Townhouse Hotel Manchester (9 min walk)
  • Midland Hotel, Manchester (8 min walk)

If you have the budget I’d strongly recommend The Midland, fantastic hotel (had one of my weddings there). It’s also opposite the Central Library which is a great building, and a 2 minute walk from the town hall buildings. You’d be hard pressed to find a better example of Victorian architecture.

Please note, there is only one English Premiership football team from Manchester, and they don’t play in red

If you are attending Eve Manchester 2018, please could you fill out the following pre-registration form: https://goo.gl/forms/OfudMKVoos7uMLuU2

It only requires your character name and corporation. If you don’t have a character or corporation, just use whatever name you’d like to go by on the night! And please only RSVP once!

Filling this pre-registration out will automatically enter you into the prize draw giveaways we’ll be doing throughout the evening. We have lots of nice goodies to giveaway!

I’ll be there!
I did the RSVP thing. Probably shouldn’t put my name in the prizedraw though, it might get awkward if I win that luxury holiday to Iceland :stuck_out_tongue:
